micah7:9

I want to get this off my chest now, I do not ask my questions or give my answers to stir up anything but answers to my questions and debate  for my offerings. I believe

IITim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God and profitable(ōphelimos= helpfull) for doctrine,(didaskalia=instruction) for reproof, (elegchos=
proof, conviction) for correction, (epanorthōsis= straightening up again ) for insturction(paideia= tutorage, that is, education or training; in righteousness:
I have been taught that chastening is the work of Grace, and I for one will not mind a chastening from the Body.
I seek and pray for learning, not wisdom,(for wisdom will come) but humility with the knowledge I may recieve.
Why did Jesus only heal some? Why did Jesus not heal more people? Was His healing limited? Why didnt Jesus Jesus heal ALL the sick and deformed at the time of His walk on earth?
Peace and Love Through Jesus

John 14:11 (Amplified Bible)

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father's name convince you

Perhaps the works of Jesus were explicit examples given at a particular time for a particular reason which even today when one delves deep into the Spirit of understanding new and present truths are revealed of the Glory of the Son and the purpose for all humanity.

I know that our correspondence was short(via email) and only my way, but what did you just say in you healing post?......

"Perhaps the works of Jesus were explicit examples given at a particular time for a particular reason which even today when one delves deep into the Spirit of understanding new and present truths are revealed of the Glory of the Son and the purpose for all humanity." (Beloved Servant)

My questions were... Why did Jesus only heal some?
Why did Jesus not heal more people?
Was His healing limited?
Why didnt Jesus Jesus heal ALL the sick and deformed at the time of His walk on earth?

Cardinal

:cloud9: I don't think there was any one reason. Another I didn't mention is; it takes faith to receive anything from Him. He said the Centurian had more faith than He had seen elsewhere. Blessings

I agree with Cardinal - Jesus often mentioned faith, even faith of the friends who lowered the man through a roof on a mat.

Micah, I guess I have a question for you - do we know that Jesus didn't heal all that came to Him?

Beloved Servant

Actually, He did heal all past and future generations.

Are you asking the question because you're looking for an answer?
Or, are you leading the conversation by posing the question first?

thinktank

Can you show me where he did not heal them?

There is a scripture which says if it were recorded the amount of miracles he did there would not be enough room to contain them in all the books of the world. If I remembered that corectly, or it might be all the books of the libary or something like that.

peace

Okay you are all correct in your replys and I should not have asked the questioned. Yes I wanted an answer and yes I was asking to lead the conversation as well. I dont know that Jesus did not heal all the people that were ill, your correct also there were many things done by Jesus that no amt of books could hold. And yes He healed in the past and is healing now, and will continue to heal. It was a bad question.

I don't think it was a bad question - it made us all think

I think people were just wondering where you were headed with the question - I don't know anyone here very well yet and I wondered if you were struggling with an illness and felt your prayers weren't being heard.
