micah7:9

Is it just me or does anyone else ever consider the absolute vileness, pain and horror of immorality, that the human mind comes up with to inflict on other human beings, whether it is in real life or created in movies and books?  The imaginations that ooze from the human mind(heart?) are just plain evil; what the filthy, foul, and rotten human mind imagines, whether in torture or in pornography, or the human sex appitite and its traffic in the young and old.
Yet, to my knowledge, The Creator had to have known the ability of His creation. Or am I way off base? This I believe is why prayer and staying as close as possible to learning and understanding how the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives is so very important.

Beloved Servant

People are capable of incredible goodness and kindness as well as horrendous, unspeakable acts.

Good and evil.

It is the only Wisdom of the Lord they attained in Eden.

micah7:9

Yes. Thank you for reminding me of that wonderful and great fact. The counterpart of evil-bad is good.  My thought was how awful the bad is and that He, The Creator knows of both. I can handle the GOOD all day long and into the night; Its the ugly side that has caused me to wonder, the evil that men can do and come up with from the brain that is in man. That is the hard swallow.

A lot of the more repulsive evil comes from demonization. Unfortunately the church has lost its right to cast out demons by bad doctrines and would rather send people off to loony concentration camps.

When the church wakes up to this power, then the kingdom of God will make greater progress to destroy evil, as prophesied by Daniel, when the kingdom of God destroys these other kingdoms.

God has knowleds of evil because he knows all things, and knows what happens when people go against his ways of doing things. The devil only twists what God has already created, although some evil is done by God, such as the curse upon the Earth, but this is what Adam and Eve asked for a world without God. Even though we have nothing to do with them and only a part of them physically, we still have the privelage of learning what life is like in part without God.

micah7:9

Thats true, but men do these things, and they are doing them now. Nothing is out of His order of things since He began time, I know this, but... When we hear of these hedious things being done, its hard for me to realize that Father, God The Creator, knew the capibilities of man....to fartherest extent of good as well as the fartherest extent of bad.
I know He is going to heal the land, the people, all things; it just troubles me at times to hear and see how man is.

:cloud9: @ Micah....Yes, it is hard to hear about. I have watched programs about child traficking and cried and prayed for the children. It makes me ill.

One girl, I will never forget, was sold by her own father because he was an opium addict and he wanted the drugs more than his own little girl. She was 11 when he sold her into the sex slave trade. They showed her at 16, dying of AIDS, and she had no resentment or hatred towards her father at all the way she talked. I just sobbed.

And it was wealthy AMERICAN businessmen going to Indonesia primarily that were their customers. Made me even more ill. They go over there, where no one cares about it apparently, so the pedophiles won't get caught over here.

This and other horror stories are why I keep begging Him to finish the work in us, so we can destroy the works of the enemy COMPLETELY.

@ thinktank.....You're right about the demonization. The church is weak and ineffective because most of them are in denial and unbelief about the kingdom of darkness. Blessings....

And yet are we not all called to walk in the light as "he" is in the light?  Could this be so that as we are in the light, we can illuminate those walking in the darkness so they to can experience freedom in the night?  How effective can we be in trying to save a drowning victim if we get caught up in the same mire they're drowning in?  Be strong and courageous, look not to the right or to the left, keep your eyes on the prize ahead of you. Know that there "is" an ascended place for those who will let him raise them up into where it is.

Our purpose here is to become the light in these dark places you speak of.  Don't let the fear and sadness in your mind distract you from your purpose.  You were not called to the throne to become entangled by the plagues of the world.  You ARE children of the light.  You see the darkness?  Speak out words of life and light in faith knowing that there is an end to the dark secrets going on behind closed doors.  Acknowledgement that they are there is a good thing, but it's the first step to bring an end to it.  We are the extension of his love and light.

Did you know when eagles molt, they go to extreme isolation and other eagles constantly fly over, dropping them fresh meat and scream down to them, letting them know they are there and they are watching over them until they can fly once again.  Yet they never land where the molting eagle is . . .don't land in the dark places around you . . .drop your fresh meat, give your words of encouragement, but remain in the currents of the wind, otherwise, you lose your balance and become isolated yourself.

Good post, encouraging  :thumbsup:we must believe that good will overcome evil, but we must not forget the power of Christ, because doing good, for 'goods' sake, I don't think is powerfull enough in todays evil world and need to walk in the authority that God has given his saints over the power of darkness.

micah7:9

I have NO doubts whatsoever about the outcome of all this, it is good and for His glory. My thought was just how ugly that man was made to be.
You can say that is not so, but either HE KNEW all the garbage man would be capable of, or, if He didnt... then I would say He is not God.
I no longer blame the enemy, and I have never blamed God. I ask by the grace of God that He will use this vessel and all the other saints to overcome.
My point is man is capable of great and good and wonderful things as Beloved said, but man can get more foul than the foulest of filth, that is what causes me to wonder  how much worse it will get before...... He brings it all back to HIM.

I don't blame God and I don't blame man.  It's the carnality of this realm that has caused man to deteriorate to these levels.  In Christ, with every thing there is a balance.  But in this realm, everything is in extremes.

In the garden, the balance was life and knowledge . . .but man chose to serve only knowledge . . . God knew it, but God also uses these dark places to reveal his light even greater.  It's all in the perspective of the beholder . . .

Yes. I guess the understanding comes from Rom. 1:19-32

Rom 1:24  Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves:

I hear you, Micah.

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

"wear out" [the saints of the most High]

H1080
בּלא
belâ'
bel-aw'
(Chaldee); corresponding to H1086 (but used only in a mental sense); to afflict: - wear out.

I feel pretty worn out, myself...

H1086
בּלה
bâlâh
baw-law'
A primitive root; to fail; by implication to wear out, decay (causatively consume, spend): - consume, enjoy long, become (make, wax) old, spend, waste.

...But only in a mental sense.

Nathan

I believe it's your mind that the passage is talking about anyway.
