Hell on tv

Why is it I ask that every tv ministry I know of belives in eternal hell?

What I mean is where are the ministries that don't belive in hell?

The ministries I know of such a 7thday adventist, Jehovas witnesses, bible student, presbyterians (I think) and Universalists don't preach about eternal hell, but yet are strangely absent on Christian tv networks.
I guess the universalist position is only just coming to power and probably needs more time to grow, before going on tv, but the other groups I mentioned have been around for a while.

Also you would think that some of the ministries, such as a typical baptist congregation, would be more independent thinkers and go against their Father church, doctrines. But there is not one, I find this strange and perhaps, just demonstrates the kind of power and fear that the father church (The boss) has over their daughter churches.

I have to admit I seldom watch Christian networks, but if I do there always seem to be many ways to donate.
I think that's the reason. A large established flock pay$ more snake$ on a pole than the small newbie groups  :winkgrin:

Universalism won't be successful as a traditional type ministry because it doesn't center it's doctrines on fear and crisis and emotional fixes that needs dollars to correct.

It would probably be best to not get involved with an organized religious channel like Trinity Broadcasting or EWTN.  They all become too worldly after a while.  Look at the Televangelists constantly asking for money for your salvation.  Probably to keep their shows going.  I cannot even watch Televangelism on TV with out barfing :winkgrin:

I enjoy a program on ETWN sister Mary I think her name is, it feels different to the other programs, a nice change, has peace.

Mother Angelica! She had a peace about her. I have watched her shows a few times.

But there is another show hosted by a "priest" that takes caller's question's on the phone.

I called a number of times asking about Romans 8:19.

The first time they left me on hold for the entire show, about 28 of the 30 minutes.

The subsequent times I was simply told by the person who screens the calls that the "Fathers" don't have their Bibles with them on the set. (!)

I did a google search and your right it was mother Angelica I meant.

I might have seen that call show, im not sure if it's the same one, but I have seen one show where they answer emails on the air, probably a different show though.

Did you try to phone them up again?

To bring an alternative message to ET. A lot of people are turned off from Christianity, because of ET, like the people here for example. It was only by the nick of time that Garry tentmaker was saved from suicide, perhaps if the message was on tv people like him would have hope.

I can imagine live phone in's being a bit chaotic though, lol.
