Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and the way you guys are putting Christianity is saying that even muslims (who persecute Christians, who attacked New York City, who believe "Europe is the Cancer, Islam is the Answer") Are doctrined Christians! This can't be true. The Bible says in romans chapter 10

8 In fact, it says,
The message is very close at hand;
it is on your lips and in your heart.
And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced. 12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.
14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!
16 But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, LORD, who has believed our message? 17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. 18 But I ask, have the people of Israel actually heard the message? Yes, they have:
The message has gone throughout the earth,
and the words to all the world

Your belief system is nothing new. It's based of the historical Aryan Christianity, like Hitler, who believed God knows exactly who is going to Heaven and who isn't because he's hand picking them, not because they're saved, but because God is racist. It's the same principle that you're basing your beliefs off of. You are not Christians, you are the same thing as "Mormons" or "Jehovah's Witness," Where as you're taking verses and scriptures in the Bible completely out of context and twisting them so that you can say that you can live ANY way you want to and still get to Heaven. Revelation 20:13-15:

13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

God would not have told the Roman Catholic church to put this into the Holy Bible if there was no NEED for it. With your beliefs, there is no NEED for this verse. Every verse in the Bible is TRUE and must be read in complete context with each other in order for it to receive it's true credibility and meaning.

I'm not here to condemn you, but counsel you on your faith. Please don't ban me, but allow me to engage in the healthy, faithful, and fruitful discussion of the differences of our faith.

God Bless you.

First of all, you're wrong in your original premise.  The owner of this site, and the leadership, as well as many members believe in Christian, Biblical Universal Reconciliation, or the Victorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Which means Muslims, Buddhists, or "christians" who have never called upon the name of the Lord/believed upon Him unto salvation will have to indeed do that at some point - when HE calls and chooses.  There's a purpose of the ages - some will be chosen in this lifetime, the rest later - each in his own order as Paul says - but eventually "every knee will bow, every tongue confess Jesus is Lord".

Some will be hurt of the second death, and will suffer much loss.  Anything not of God that cannot enter the New Jerusalem will be burned as we're refined and come to a place of repentance and acceptance of Jesus' sacrificial death at Calvary and His resurrection on the third day.  Paul said some would be delivered to satan for the destruction of their flesh, so their spirit would be saved in the Day of the Lord.

You came to counsel us, saying "you are not even Christians"?  You don't even know what we believe.  Why not learn a little more yourself before making such uninformed statements.  Back up and perhaps we can try starting over.

"Every knee will bow, every tongue confess Jesus is Lord" is true. We all will on Judgment Day. But Revelation says that after Christ comes again, all will bow and confess the name of the Lord Jesus Christ but it will be too late.

Not everybody is going to Heaven. And from the video I saw on youtube, I feel your beliefs are way off base and out of context with the literal Word of God.

You will be allowed to stay and post as long as you abide by the forum guidelines.  That includes not personally attacking, and questioning someone's salvation that has believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and attempting to judge and condemn them is considered a personal attack.  If you want to discuss doctrine, beliefs, that's fine.  But there will be a limit to making (especially uninformed) judgments on people's salvation.

You need to be sure and read the Forum Guidelines and expectations.  It appears to me from these first posts that you may need to really learn what it is you're debating against, before you start debating against it.

People usually introduce themselves.  Who are you, what do you believe, what are you seeking by being here?

I've seen all kinds of definitions of UR but yours sounds more like Calvinism. "hand picking" = elect.
Basicly UR is a teaching that eventually everyone through Christ will reach heaven.
For UR people the "trough Christ" part is great importance.
How can UR be based on racist hand picking beliefs if all reach heaven? All includes Blacks and Jews. That doesn't sound very racist to me. Neither does it sound like what Hitler believed in.
So I think you have been informed very wrongly about what UR actually is.

I'm not part of the crew but I can say they don't ban that easily if the discussion is fruitful. Disagreements without calling names are allowed (to a certain extent)
But to make a discussion fruitful you first have to understand what we believe. You don't have to agree with it but at least have the courtesy condemn us on what we believe :icon_jokercolor:
Hint#1: Every UR defenition that doesn't put extreme importance in Jesus is not what people on this forum believe in.
Hint#2: Every UR defenition that singles out a certain "race" is not what people on this forum believe in.

Well, one thing is for sure, if you believe you have been commissioned to come here and declare that you have the authority to counsel us on our faith, you have already engaged in  an unhealthy spiritual road.

Excellent,

Would you say you are one of the chosen?  You know one of the appointed?

NASB Act 13:48  When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

Were you appointed by Lot?

NASB Eph 1:11  also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,

Net Eph 1:11  In Christ28 we too have been claimed as God's own possession, 29 since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

29 tn Grk   "we were appointed by lot." The notion of the verb κληρόω (klēroō) in the OT was to "appoint a portion by lot" (the more frequent cognate verb κληρονομέω [klēronomeō]  meant "obtain a portion by lot"). In the passive, as here, the idea is that "we were appointed [as a portion] by lot" (BDAG 548 s.v. κληρόω 1). The words "God's own" have been supplied in the translation to clarify this sense of the verb. An alternative interpretation is that believers receive a portion as an inheritance: "In Christ we too have been appointed a portion of the \inheritance." See H. W. Hoehner, Ephesians, 226-27, for discussion on this interpretive
issue.

Indeed!

Php 1:29  For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Yes, it has been granted for you to believe!  It's a gift, not some self awareness!

Eph 2:8  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

CLV Eph 2:8 For in grace, through faith, are you saved, and this is not out of you; it is God's approach present,

So 'TheDiscipleShip',  Just how do you counsel on faith when it's not of yourself?

Peace,
Paul

HI TDS,

I hope you are still here? You say, "But Revelation says that after Christ comes again, all will bow and confess the name of the Lord Jesus Christ BUT IT WILL BE TOO LATE".

I do not see where it says in Rev. that it will be too late. Please show me this verse.

I read in many places that if we confess with our mouth that we will be saved. (Rom. 10:9) (Matt. 10:32)  (Luke 12:8).

(1Cor. 12:3) "no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit".   How do you explain this verse?

Don't think you will get an answer? As I had welcomed this person in a private message, only to receive this:

Are you a "Universalist" like everybody else on this discussion board?

To which I responded, hearing nothing more:

Nothing can be anything, until you decide to label it something!

All who preach are not doing it, entirely for the LORD, as man will promptly defend any
thought not at variance with his own expectations, nor contrary to his interests.

But I have learned that you change your enemies, when you become friends.

OH really, I've been on here for almost 2 years and have never seen a post even hinting at something like that, guess I must have missed something

I personally have no problem whatsoever not identifying as a christian, to me the label of christian is synonymous with arrogance, pomposity, self centredness, narcissisism (all under the false guise of fake piety), here is a forum which would perhaps suit you better, as they have the same mindset as yourself CARM

Have you ever heard the expression, the pot calls the kettle black, you yourself have a narrow mind and take a handful scriptures out of context to support your vile doctrine of eternal torture, you feel it's such an injustice that others can get to heaven unless they think the same way you do, OH MY what a tragedy and totally unfair that someone who is bad shoudl eventually get to heaven

Another example of how people of your ilk come here under the false guise of piety, assuming they are the only ones who are right

On behalf on my fellow posters here

How dare you be so presumptuous to imply and insinuate that the vast majority of people on here are deceived and deluded except yourself
