Ease down mods. No nasty things said in this post :laughing7:

Jesus was humble. He said quite often He's 'nothing'/servant/etc. Everything comes from the Father.
He just follows orders. Worship the Father not the Son. Etc

Then why are people calling themselfs CHRISTians and not for example YAHWEHians?
Yes I'm aware Christians can be explained as followers of Christ who followed Father. Or some similar explanation. But isn't that a bit of indirect glory to Father?
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Actually I am not sure we should "worship" Jesus per sey, but to see Jesus as the example we understand down here.

Do we know what it means to worship the father except by the example of Jesus?

SQ

The way I understand is have to go through Jesus first, obviously the Father knows his Son can be trusted.
That is the only way to get to the Father and rules are rules.

Amen.

Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!" And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!" And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.  Rev. 5:11-14  (and many others)
The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

I think there is some misunderstanding about my question
It's not about the role of Jesus in the plan of salvation.
It's why the religion is called after the Son and not after the most high Father?

Ok, but I think He doesn't need Jesus to tell Him anything about someone. He already knows.

I already answered this just above but I'll repeat. My question is not about the vast number of qualities of Jesus. The grand masterplan of God. Etc
No matter how high you rank Jesus, Jesus Himself said He's just a servant of Father.
So why name a religion after the servant (Son) and not the master (Father)?

Well, Christ isn't a name, title, or office, though religion has turned it into that.  It's a mistranslated/mistransliterated word referring to the Isaiah 10:27 burden removing, yoke destroying fatness or anointing of God that's a biproduct of a right relationship with God's Spirit and the Scriptures.  Means we're supposed to be known for the same thing Lord Jesus was known for in Acts 10:38 per 2Corinthians 1 and 1John 2 [and many other passages] saying we've got the same anointing, John 14:12 promising we'd do greater works, our being called the Body of the Anointed which would necessarily imply being the Body of the Anointing or the Burden removing, yoke destroying power that Isaiah 10:27 refers to.

Paul and others spent a whole year in Antioch in Acts talking about nothing but the 1Corinthians 12 gifts of the spirit and our new supernatural life in Him by faith in His Lordship and the Blood by which He's made prosperity and they kept on and on about it 'til the public finally started calling them the Anointeds.  It's the only message taught in Acts and it's what always brings the power into manifestation, each and every single time.  We're named after Power rather than Love and while some might get into a philosophical whatever about that and it's appropriateness, it's a necessary condescension of language to reach the pagans, religious Jews according to 1Corinthians, and in the language of electronics it's an explanation of every Christian principle that we do such and such to be free, to stay free, and to receive and impart deliverance to others on a moment's notice rather than to be goodie-two-shoes enough to get to heaven someday.

The only reason for sowing and reaping according to Galatians 6 is to reap manifestations of Holy Spirit.  Obviously, love is the desireable world we all prefer to have, so it has it's egalitarian, humanitarian, humanistic, and other types of benefits for the whole of Creation and not just for humans, but the emphasis is upon the means by which we get out of every Hell we've been in, in this life, spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, socially, environmentally, and in our legacies.  That's why this was also called in the earliest days "The Way," but Christianity probably became more of a desireable name additionally to avoid confusion with Taoism which in terms of a name of a philosophical process would be a semantical confusion in some languages and parts of the world if we were still called "The Way." We're not only a process and a destiny, but we're the fulfillment of thousands of years of prophecies and that's an important part of our distinctives from other religious systems and there's a subliminal in the name that we're the fulfillment of Judaism and all of it's sacrificial, religious, and temple service, calendars, et. al.  We're named after what all of their prophets promised was coming, so trying to lead Jews to Lord Jesus and the demands of the Gospel irks them worse than if you were trying to convert them to anything else you can think of under the sun.
