Haiti's Earthquake, Can we blame God for it?

I've been around natural disaster theology like Pat's for a long time. It's every bit as superstitious as the voodoo pact Pat blames for the shifting of tectonic plates.

pact that Pat blames for the shifting of tectonic plates. What he preaches is nothing more than horse pucky and cow chips standing under the samed filthy old religious hat fresh off the preachers desk,
yes indeed DO PAY HEED, Pat Robertson preaches again while I am hanging on to the edge of my seat anxiously awaiting his next prophetic sermon, I hardly have the patience to wait.  Come on already Pat you might do better by smoking pipe and reading tea leaves which is a little more in conventional keeping with soothsaying.

From my POV to blame the doings of man for earthquakes such as Pat Robertson preaches or at least implies is like saying man has more power than God and so looking at man in that light would be to give man the Glory because he can outdo God? I hardly trust that to be true.

All earthquakes, volcanic erruptions, droughts, floods, wild fires set off by lightning, plague causing germs,things that can work pestelence and such have been considered and named acts of God worked through the laws of nature because they are not  caused by man, these laws, germs and critters that can work adversity to man  were put into motion from the begining of the world, man didn't put these things into the world, God did.
