People get tonque tied sometimes when trying to avoid scripture.

Some think that God can't do what he wants to do, they limit the power of God. They think God signed some sort of contract keeping him from doing what he desires.

I had a Baptist preacher say this to me:  I ask the preacher, "if your son was running out into the street and you knew he would be killed by a transfer truck and you had the power to stop him or the truck, wouldn't you do everything in your power to stop this from happening"?

His reply to me was, "not if I had signed a paper saying I would not interfear with what my son did". Free will.  :mshock: I told him that "wasn't love and I wouldn't want him for a father".

All you can do is pray for them.

- All of the elect.
- All of humanity but He respects the free will to not be saved.

Not wanting to start a debate on free will it always makes me wonder why a God that repects free will doesn't respect the free will of those in hell.  I'm sure the free will of the people of hell is not to be tortured for eternity.
It's like saying that everyone that doesn't want to be a professional football player (heaven) automatically chooses to be a professional tennis player (hell).

I dont think anyone will be happy in "hell". Whatever Gehenna entails, I think it will bring them to the full reality of their sin to where they realize their need for God and His grace.

True. And those people do not want to be in hell. Contrary to some views that state that people want to be there. That was the point I was trying to make.
