Isaiah 46:10
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Genesis 1:4
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:38
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Taffy,

He declared the end in the beginning (The end of his plan was declared in genesis/beginning).

The division of Light from Darkness.

The division of Christ's from Satan's.

The wheat (into the barn), the tares exterminated (burned).

Peace and hope in Christ.

Elohim  (it is plural) is Light and Darkness (Love and Wrath, Satan and Christ), But our Father has totally associated with the Light; he has chosen the good thing and is abolishing the bad (darkness).

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us(Light and darkness, Love and Wrath) make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

James 3:9
Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

Thus we have sons of the Darkness (tares) and sons of the Light (wheat).

If thy right hand offend thee (darkness), cut if off.  It is better that the remainder of the body live then the whole perish; for surely God is perfecting himself by eliminating the part of him that would cause the remainder of him to perish.

The physician is healing himself.  Men are but tools, for the torch is not lit for itself, but for those who weild it.

Peace in Christ.

quote Peacetroll
QuoteElohim  (it is plural)

Though I don't claim to understand the nature of God, or of heavely things, I always thought that this plurality (is that a word?) was referring to this.

Gen chapter 5 verse 1 and 2

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Male and female created he them and blessed them and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

of course since male and female were named by God as Adam, I don't know where Eve fits in, but I don't understand many of the mysteries of the scripture, but there is most certainly a plurality when one says "their name was Adam", if there was no mystery here then it would have said Adam and Eve.(I guess??) God made man in his image, so I can assuredly say that his image includes both male and female (plural), it is possible that Adam later named the female half of the image of God Eve (if Eve is indeed the female part of Adam) because of the male authority, but this does not take away from the original plurality of what God has named Adam (in his image, male and female)

Yes, God did declare the end from the beginning, I just don't think enough was written down for us to come up with any hard facts on how things are without being disputed by a different view, now.....after we know by revelation the truth here, then these scriptures would most certainly be in harmony with that revelation and everything would make perfect sense. Until my revelation (of which I anxiously await), I am going to refrain from saying satan is Gods dark half, as this would bring guilt upon my conscience right now.

Just my  :2c:

Thanks for your input and ideas.

The name Satan actually means 'advesary'.  And we know that the ANTI-CHRIST Spirit is the ANTI-LIGHT Spirit.

We also know all things are of God.  In the beginning God divided Light from Darkness (which we know must have been original parts of God, for all things are of God/Plural?, if only in the indirect since).

We also know Satan has Angels (see John in Revelations), and we also know that Satan (the Anti-Light Power), was not named an Angel (or son of the God of Love), when he came among the council of heavenly beings in the Book of Job.

Remember also that Paul called Satan the "God of this world" in no uncertain terms.

We also know that not even Micheal would dare bring a railing accusation against Satan (The Anti-Light Power), when disputing over Moses body.  These are things to deeply consider.

What we have are two spirits.  one of love, one of wrath.

one of light and one of darkness.  One of mercy and one of stern unforgivingness.  One of Life and one of Death.  Both are spirits.  Both are parts of the original Elohim (Yen and Yang?).

One the God of the heavenly.   One the God of the earthy.

Two tree's.  Two spirits, two opposite ends of the spectrum but both ELOHIM.

Here is a quick link to an articles pertaining to the Hebrew understanding of Elohim:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elohim

You will find it MUCH disputed as to wether Elohim is plural.  The fact is this, it depends on the context.  Some places Elohim refers to a singular and in some a plural (or group).

the primary examples are as follows; God (Elohim), said, let US MAKE man in OUR IMAGE.  Obvious even to a secondary school student, is the fact that it is used in a PLURAL conotation.

Also, we see Paul calls Satan the GOD of THIS WORLD (Elohim of this World).  Again, we know there is LIGHT AND DARKNESS (Spiritual metaphor for spirits and their corresponding traits), for our Father is a LIGHT, Satan is Darkness.

Press on in Christ.

He declared the end in the beginning (The end of his plan was declared in genesis/beginning).

There is MUCH MORE said in this quoted verse, than you imply... Lets read the entire verse:

(Is 46:10) Declaring the END from the BEGINNING, ...and... from ANCIENT TIMES that are NOT DONE, saying My counsel shall stand, and I WILL do ALL my pleasure.

How much was NOT DONE?  Does this not include ALL THINGS?  For at the BEGINNING, NOTHING was ..."DONE"... and the DECLARATION was NOT just how the END would take place, but how ALL THINGS would take place...

QuoteElohim  (it is plural) is Light and Darkness (Love and Wrath, Satan and Christ), But our Father has totally associated with the Light; he has chosen the good thing and is abolishing the bad (darkness).

Now this is really a reach... The FATHER YHVH, is ETERNAL and ALWAYS IS... He CHANGES NOT (Mal 3:6) , neither does His WORD (Heb 13:8)

GOD ...IS... and does not "abolish" anything... He indicates that which He WILLS to be ETERNAL... and ACCEPTABLE to EXIST in the STATE which HE is IN... which is ETERNAL... EVIL, DARKNESS, SIN, were in GOD's KNOWLEDGE, but NOT in His Children... He has chosen to give this portion of Himself to us via THIS TIME EXPERIENCE... that does not equate to ABOLISHMENT...

Because I do not use PROFANITY does not ABOLISH it... It means that it is KNOWN, but NOT PRACTICED...

QuoteGenesis 1:26
And God said, Let us(Light and darkness, Love and Wrath) make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

That both, ...LOVE and WRATH are INDICATED (evidently practiced) in TIME, does not mean they both are INDICATED in ETERNITY...

GOD has no WRATH in ETERNITY... wrath is a by-product of the CREATION of TIME and is a TOOL of perfection used to MAR the clay (Jer 18:4), in its trek through the TIME REALM...

The DARKNESS is created to avail the LIGHT... if there were nothing but LIGHT how would you KNOW it to be LIGHT?

QuoteThus we have sons of the Darkness (tares) and sons of the Light (wheat).

These elements (wheat and tares) are found in ALL MEN... PT...

QuoteIf thy right hand offend thee (darkness), cut if off.  It is better that the remainder of the body live then the whole perish; for surely God is perfecting himself by eliminating the part of him that would cause the remainder of him to perish.

Now THIS, is really going off the edge my friend... God is PERFECTING HIMSELF?  God is not in need of PERFECTING... He is COMPLETE... ALL POWERFUL... you observe a God who is "learning" rather than teaching...

QuoteThe physician is healing himself.  Men are but tools, for the torch is not lit for itself, but for those who weild it.

Scripture states that the SICK are in need of the Doctor... you think God to be SICK?

(Mk 2:17)  When JESUS heard it, He saith unto them: THEY that are WHOLE have NO NEED of the PHYSICIAN, but THEY that ARE SICK... I came not to call the righteous, but SINNERS to repentence

God is certainly not in need of HEALING Peacetroll... He is about bringing His CHILDREN, to be reconciled to Himself...  and in that process, HEALS them from being tainted by the experience and interaction of EVIL... (sin)

Once completed, the CHILDREN of the MOST HIGH, shall REFLECT HIM in TOTALITY by having had the experience of GOOD and EVIL, and of LIGHT and DARKNESS, and of LOVE and WRATH...

ALL things are of GOD... and GOD CHANGES NOT...

EVIL shall not be prevalent in ETERNITY, because GOD has provided the KNOWLEDGE of its UNACCEPTABILITY concerning HIS DOMAIN (eternity)... and has shown/displayed this UNACCEPTABILITY through THIS TIME EXPERIENCE... which has actively contained it...

Peace me bratha...  :afFro:

Good points willieH, I must admit Peacetroll that this path doesn't look very profitable and willieH has pointed out many of the reason why. IMO.

Reverend G

Sometimes the truth is long to be revealed.  I cannot claim to truly understand scripture, but in this verse on the creation of adam, being both male and female, one thing stands out to me.  Eve being created later, was female.  If one looks deeply, and considers the state of human knowledge today, one possible (I stress possible) answer jumps out.  In human reproduction, the male, adam, is the one who contains within his seed BOTH the male and female, both X and Y.  The female can only donate the female.  Far from proclaiming it the ultimate truth, it does provide some explanation for the seeming contradiction in this verse.

Peacetroll

Come reasons with me Willie.

Regarding the end.

The end is the end of death (Satan) and his kin (His angels and the Tares).

He declared it from the beginning.

Separation of Light from Darkness.....this is the end.  The means to this end is unfolding now.  Just as he stated he IS IN THE PROCESS OF separating light from darkness...he is separating goats from sheep, wheat from chaff, wicked from the righteouss.

I suppose the parallels are of my own making?  Or  strictly coincidence? :dontknow:

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

(man I'm a bad speller).
