I have been inhabited and controlled by demonic forces for 26 years.

As of approximately 11:00pm EST on Monday December 28, 2009, I . am . ... FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say I'm very happy ... and more than a bit stunned, as I honestly never thought it would be possible!!!!!!!!!  I am so thankful to Yeshua for hearing me, and for sending His servant to help me.  Still a bit dazed and need sleep, but just had to post this here, esp. since some here know me from a few years ago and other places too, and might welcome this bit of news. :)

Any idea what set you free MCW?

So any idea why now?
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ -- my true Master and First Love -- set me free.  I am grateful to Him for doing so, and I trust Him with my life both here and hereafter.

He's God.  I'm not.  Only He can answer your question.  I cannot.

Thank you both for your fellowship and for sharing the joy and gratitude I feel to Him for this miracle. I did not think it possible. Many others did not think it possible either, and did not hesitate to state as much. But with God all things ARE possible, and I now have the privilege of being living proof of this, and of HIS power. And even more than His power, His mercy.  His tremendous, awesome, unbounded and unlimited mercy, that He would love so vile a creature as this. May His grace infuse and help these poor words, so inadequate to truly praise Him as He deserves. I am nothing. He is everything. This isn't about me. This is about His beautiful heart of compassion and love, and His glorious power to save, and His love that conquers ALL. His love had the power to vanquish the vile evil that infested my soul and wash me clean and take me to be a vessel in His service. My ONLY desire is to love, honor and worship Him and utterly submit myself to His will and His rightful reign over me. I delight to kiss His feet and serve Him. I relinquish all pride and do not care what men think of me. I willingly place my head beneath His feet and call Him Master, for my heart's desire is to serve Him.

I've been watching this develop.  This post touched me.  May God continue to bless you, He has begun and HE will COMPLETE your faith...dwell IN Him, in the cleft of the Rock - for there, it is safe.

May we all be willing to dwell at His feet..it may be then that He takes our hand and truly lifts us into His presence.

Jesus spoke this to His disciples, but I've gotta think there's certainly spiritual application to us;

"No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you."  John 15:15

God's blessing, and thank you Jesus for revealing Your plans, love, and power to this dear soul.  In Jesus' name.

The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

Friendofmankind,

Sometimes it may seem He does not answer -- and we may be tempted to feel He does not hear us -- but we must walk by faith and not by sight.  When our feelings and our circumstances and the things we can feel, taste, touch and perceive do not line up with His word, we must cling to His word as the only reality and truth, and take those thoughts and feelings captive to Him. The essence of sanity resides in having a living connection to truth and reality where the two emerge as one. The Holy Spirit once told me that this is the very key to sanity itself: to take every thought captive to Christ. Doing so connects us to truth; knowing the truth sets us free; being free reifies truth, makes it real to us.

As for what I have been set free from, exactly what I posted above.  I had been inhabited and openly controlled by demonic forces for 26 years.  I had no will nor mind of my own, and toward the end (most especially the last 2 years) I lost all control over myself and my life.

It did indeed require a miracle of God to set me free. Indeed it took a miracle of God to even make me aware freedom could be possible and to put me in touch on a more consistent basis with my own anguished desire for it.  It was far easier to escape into my Stockholm syndrome and private mythos, and their infernal embrace, than to face the reality of my situation as a prisoner, slave and hostage.  I did not believe freedom possible for me; I considered myself too vile, too unholy, too polluted, tainted, and sick to salvage.  I genuinely believed I had completely destroyed myself and thus all chance to be forgiven or redeemed. I did not believe that God could love me, let alone that He did.

I could go into detail about my past, how it felt to be possessed, what they did to me, etc. but I really don't want to focus there. I did spend some time writing some of that out and in the end, because it made me feel sad to revisit it, I decided against posting it here. I hope you will understand that I want to look forward ... not behind me.  I want to follow my precious Lord and Master forward into the beautiful plans He has for my life, plans to prosper me (spiritually), not to harm me -- plans to give me hope and a future.  I just praise His holy name for delivering me from the complete hell I lived in, a miserable hell of despair and separation from Him.  No more, though.  No more.

friendofmankind

I am so happy for you.

No, do not dwell on the past, dont even think about it.
What happened, happened and its finished, and you have a new life now.

Im very very happy for you and wish you many happy years to come until at last we are home.

Doc

Great Moriah! I can tell the difference too, partly because of the change between how you write now and the strange way you wrote over on Wisefire. God be praised!

HartleyDamboiseII

I know what set me free, it was the Revelation of God's Son. and all the Tribulation I was forced to go "through" to learn how to knock on that door to keep looking for the Real God. Not the Lies I was forced to feed on my whole life.

God is SO GOOD.

Moriah, I must personally thank you for telling us your news.  You have given me hope for my own personal situation.  I can look forward to the day when God will release me from my demons, too.

MoriahConqueringWind

Junkbunny your time WILL come. Your day WILL come. He WILL release you.  TRUST in Him.

When they come to drag you down under/into and take you over, cry out to Him and don't stop.  You WILL see a difference.  Cry out to Him whenever you can and plead with Him for mercy and for your freedom.  He will either take care of business Himself with you or He will send you someone who is NOT pretentious, NOT superstitious, NOT a showboatting charlatan, who knows what needs to get done, to help you.

At least that is what He did for me!!   :cloud9:

Moriah,

This is such incredibly wonderful news!!! Literally, I'm teary-eyed with joy. I've met you on a few other discussions, over the past few years, and grieved over your suffering. I have prayed so much for your complete healing. It encourages me greatly to know you are finally FREE!!!!! Thank God!

I hope you are still celebrating in joy now that it has been a few months and you've had various circumstances pass through your life since your miraculous deliverance.

much love & many blessings,

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Be lifted up, you ancient doors!
That the King of glory may come in.

Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift them up, you ancient doors!
That the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The LORD Almighty-- he is the King of glory. Selah
