Our Government is Completely Wicked

This is truly haunting and apocalyptic in nature.

Can you imagine what it would be like to try to live day to day with Predator Drones hovering above your head that could strike at any time?   I think the use of these weapons is truly evil.  And to think they are calling them hellfire missiles.  Ugh!  I'm very disappointed
with President Obama's decision to continue this violence.  I think America is doomed.

US drones 'bomb Pakistan target'

At least 14 people have been killed and 15 injured in a suspected US missile strike in Pakistan's border region, witnesses and officials say.

Suspected aerial drones bombed a house and seminary linked to Taleban commander Jalaludin Haqqani.

Pakistan's army confirmed an explosion in the North Waziristan tribal area.

It would be the fourth cross-border attack in less than a week allegedly carried out by US forces, who have not officially confirmed their involvement.

This follows persistent US accusations that Pakistan is not doing enough to eliminate Taleban and al-Qaeda sanctuaries in the border region.

I gave Obama a lot of chances to make good on his campaign promises.  It is now past one year that he was inaugurated.    I can only assume that God planned for Obama to carry this evil out since God is in control of all things.  That doesn't make it any less wicked in my eyes.  I speak from the earthly perspective.  This is why I have been asking over and over if WE are ordained to BE a LIVING SACRIFICE,,, because we have no choice but to live in this wicked, violent world.  No one asked us if we wanted to see all this wickedness.  It was not according to OUR WILL, just as it says in the book of Romans.   So the only true choice is to trust that God is good no matter how much suffering he allows.   And I have realized that, but I still mourn over all the suffering in the world.   I'm no better than Job or anyone else.   I feel a certain holy anger that makes me want to have every drop of my blood poured out into the ground.

God has left the planet--except as we carry Him in these earthen vessels.

God didn't vote for him.  We did.

Molly,

I don't see it that way exactly.    Are not all things in God's hands?

But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job 2:10

14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

My apologies for not voting, hope that doesn't offend anyone? :mshock:

As long as you are happy with the way things are going--otherwise the only person you've offended is yourself.

To not vote is a vote, however.

I, too, don't vote.

Raggedy Anne

I can't say I fault anyone for not voting.   There are wicked men on both the left and the right.  The whole world lies in wickedness.  God has brought us to this place for His own purpose.  All flesh is as grass.   I don't think anyone has fully known God who has not despised himself thoroughly (like his servant Job).

Molly, I don't know what your point was with the scriptures you posted, but I'm not in the mood to have a pointless discussion with you.

You act like you are surprised by what is happening now.  It's no surprise.  If you had payed attention to anything other than propaganda or a pretty face, you would know what this man stands for.  You would know who his backers are.  You would know what interests he serves.  It was out there for all to see.

But, you didn't pay attention, and now you blame God.

There is no one to blame but ourselves.

Molly,
I bet you voted for Bush and I bet you didn't mind him killing all those people in Iraq.  And I bet your real name is Alice.
I'm not really surprised.  I told my husband I knew Obama could not stop all that has been set in motion.  And if you want to accuse me of blaming God, go right ahead.    God takes full responsibility for all the pain in this world.   I don't believe God is offended for me to say that He is ultimately in control of it all since the scriptures declare that God lowered mankind into futility for a purpose.  Or have you not understood that before?

You are a thorn in the flesh, just as much as Job's friends were a thorn in his flesh.

I'm not Alice and I do not support what was done in the last 8 years and if you would listen to anything I have to say you would see I'm on your side.

And, don't kid yourself that Obama is a victim of the last 8 years.  He's not.  He could turn the whole thing around in a heartbeat if he so desired.  But that was never the intention.

The intention was to keep marching forward to a one world government.

God has put us here as salt, and light, and given us talents to use--we are not passive participants in somebody else's play.

1 Samuel 8

Israel Asks for a King

1 When Samuel grew old, he appointed his sons as judges for Israel. 2 The name of his firstborn was Joel and the name of his second was Abijah, and they served at Beersheba. 3 But his sons did not walk in his ways. They turned aside after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice.
4 So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. 5 They said to him, "You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead [a] us, such as all the other nations have."

6 But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do."

10 Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, "This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12 Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16 Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day."

19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. "No!" they said. "We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles."

I will live with that decision, given that of being limited to one of two or three possibilities.
And none were befitting of a freeman.
