This is sort of a part 2 of "Gods Will"

In that thread I mentioned a group of people all getting sick and they believed that in this "new day" (3rd Day) we no longer do warfare.

Now what comes to my mind is that it seems many of us have noticed how the enemy is no longer a "problem" for us and so we come to the conclusion that " its no longer an issue to be dealt with" BUT what about all those who are babes in Christ? Do they not need those how have knowledge to help them or walk along side them?

I see us seeing through "our eyes" yet we are not to be about "us" but to be about "others". Just because something no longer effects us does not mean it no longer exist, does it?

If everyone who reaches maturity runs off to the "maturity club" who is there for the babes  :dontknow:

I would love to hear how other see it

PEACE and Love :girlheart:

Ha..........

Running off to the "maturity club!"

More like running off to the "maternity ward!" if people would just speak the "truth!"

I tell you, GOD will not share HIS Glory with another!  If the "law" could have brought about

PERFECTION, then why did Jesus die? His Resurrection Blood runs DEEP!

Why does the SEED that He "is" have to

come forth and why did Paul say, "My little children, of whom I travail in birth, til Christ

be "formed" in you? Why was PETER told, "after you are converted" "STRENGTHEN your brethren!"

I don't like the my four and no more thing either..........the gates of the City are always open

to the righteous! And closed to the wicked! Outside the gate, are ...........liars, etc.  Not the righteous.

Just be led by the Spirit concerning these things, as much as lieth in you.........

The "children" are "children" because they are "children" .......yet we are

told to "be ye as children!" Surely they know nothing but LOVE!  Surley, Jesus took them upon

his lap? Do we? Or do we run off to the MATURITY WARD? What is that exhortation, "remember

them that are bound as being bound with them?"

Remember from whence ye came? Know that song? "Remind me, dear Lord?" "Where you brought me

from and where I am today?"  We are debtors..........not to the flesh, but to the Spirit.......

Staying with the wounded may wound us, but isn't that what Jesus would do?

Isn't that what the GOOD Samaritian did?

The ONLY time we have to shut the door is to "avoid" conflict..........follow PEACE with all men,

as much as lieth in you.

Another verse that comes to my mind, "all that came before Me, said Jesus, were thieves and

robbers.......and fled when the wolf came..........but I am come that Ye might have LIFE!

Sounds like there is ONE then that will not leave the flock............

AGain, I say, as much as lieth in you.......

We do realize that even Jesus went up to the MOUNTAIN alone! at times!
That He passed thru crowds...........

It is a thing one must be led by the Spirit about, looks like..

Red,

I agree with what you have presented, I might add that there are seasons to ALL mens lives while passing through the fires of this world.

A metophor I can give is: That when I was a child I was a child looking to my parents for love and my needs,, when I became a parent I wasd a parent seeking to provide for my childrens needs and demonstrate my love,
now that I am old I still love the children, the grand children and even have a couple of great grand children, however my season of being an active parent has passed on to my sons and daughters, we are at this point
entering the season of the completion of our course in this world, It is not my place nor anyone elses to do the work that has passed on to the younger generations.

Being of mixed blood one of the things I learned from the Native American side was that the old were honored amoung the people even though they were placed by the wayside of heavy active physical life, the physical demand and rigors of life were no longer demanded of the old, the old were looked after and often consulted by the younger for their experiencial knowledge and guidance , natural love for the fellowman was never forsaken. Even waring tribes would not violate the old who were by the wayside from an opposing tribe, the old were given to their dreams and rest, I see this as the hand of God in mens lives in the natural.

I can see where when Christ ascended and the spirit came down upon the apostles as they waited in the upper room that at that time a few chosen people from all Nations from around the world saw and received the spirit, maybe not fully understanding what had overcome them, then when people from the old world came here to what they called the new world and presented the gospel those who were here who had received the spirit beared inner witness to the truth of the Gospel that Jesus Christ came for all men, Jesus came to the Jew first and then to all, and in many instances had found more faith outside Israel than he did in all of Israel and probably is why he went to the Jew first.

So I would say yes the old still work, however they are in the season of working in rest and once in awhile the younger have come to see this and come into inner rest at a younger age, I believe there are many ways of ministering, we are all gifted to move in the word and minister in ways that others can't and we can't move in the way that others have been gifted either, when we are being guided by the spirit we can see that to try to go out on our own strength and direction or by the demanding direction of religious men that it is all vanity and is not of God but of the SPIRIT OF THIS WORLD, Satan demands through fear,  God commands through love.

Peace,
Fire Walker

If in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable.

Hey Christine....you know...Christ is our mature brother.......the one we look up to.....and yet people relate to him in different ways (some see Him as the infant, the Father, the mother, the friend, etc.....).  His Spirit comes to us and shows us what we need to see......at our level of understanding.

When I read the words of Paul.......I get the impression that he had a chameleon like attitude.....

"I have become all things to all people" 1 Corinthians chapter 9

IMO.....in order for the Spirit to reach us.......it must speak to us in a way we can comprehend.

.......and you know.....sometimes the babes have a thing or 2 to teach those in the "maturity club".

.......we never stop learning......we never stop growing......

hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

Hi Christine,   :dsunny:

I think maturity comes through warfare- which can only be learned in active combat.  The mature can pass on what they've learned and it can help the younger but the main learning is in the doing and even the failing.    :HeartThrob:

Hi LT

Hows that new car  :laughing7:

Christ in us is Our Victory via faith

1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

I like that term Pressing Throu... :icon_flower:  Tribulation = pressing Togther.

Rom 5:1 ΒΆ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Rom 5:2  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Rom 5:3  And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Rom 5:4  And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Rom 5:5  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us

Good stuff Taffy :bgdance:

Take a look at what the "OVERCOMMERS" can look forward to!!

Re 2:7 -
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God." '

Re 2:11 -
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death." '

Re 2:17 -t
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it." '

Re 2:26 -
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations--

Re 3:5 -
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Re 3:12 - Show Context
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Re 3:21
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Re 21:7
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

These are some incredible promises - Can we break these down?

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

AMEN LT

For mine

the messages to the Chuches\church was To OVERCOME via faith...this same message is preached for mine through out...to Move on from one Under law to Belief and faith in HIM

just this one verse speaks volumes , the message is but the same..Life ONLY through HIM and HIM alone.

Re 2:26 -
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations--
These are works of Faith a labour Love, not to be confused with works of the LAW.

The POWER  He GIVES is HIM..HE is the POWER and WISDOM of God( OVER OUR FLESH) , the Spirit and TRUTH in our hearts .

nNice post LT.
