I must say, this poor fellow sounds very upset and without peace.   He is only parroting what he has heard from other men.

Those quotes are mistranslations, much different from the manuscripts used 4oo years ago apart from the KJV.

I remember watching this video back when I was a newbie universalist. And I remember laughing because of how much he didnt even understand what he was arguing against.

The biggest problem I see here is that he assumes that those who believe in universal salvation think sin is basically no big deal...no, there are still consequences, because God will "render to each ACCORDING to their works" romans 2:6. Everyone uses matthew 5 to defend hell, but no one seems to realize that Jesus was evidently talking about WORKS here. WORKS we are told in Christianity, do not define our salvation. Jesus says "if your right hand causes you to sin" which is obviously metaphoric for things in your life that keep tripping you up. I dont think this has anything to do with eternal destiny at all, rather the simple message is "hey, deal with your sin now rather than in the gehenna judgment to come".

in his pornography analogy, apparently he thinks scaring someone out of hell and into a relationship with God is the genuine way someone is saved. Perhaps some people will decide to "live anyway they want to" upon hearing universal salvation, but a time will come when they find the hell they created, and they will find nothing of worth but Jesus.

Another problem is he assumes UR means that people can be saved "even going down the broad way" no...Jesus tells us that leads to destruction and it does. However we must come to the end of ourselves, we must (figuratively) die and be destroyed before we can be made anew again. Until that happens we can never know jesus. There is only one path...both paths do not lead to God. However, the "destruction" told of is not necessarily eternal. Everything Jesus says is symbolic, and we need to be aware of that.

All in all theres probably little point in responding to this video, like I said he doesnt even know what hes arguing against. He read a couple emails and now thinks hes an expert apologist against universal salvation...which is bologna
