IS ETERNAL LIFE A FALSE DOCTRINE?

I just watched this Youtube video which I found to be helpful in explaining the various AGES.

Erm yes and no.
In Mat 25:46 there is no eternal life.
But after the conclusion of the aions life goes on and on and on and on and....
IMO
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

God is eternal life and God is and I read He will be all in all at some point so I assume there is gobs of eternal life to be had by all.

cp
For it is God who works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.

:cloud9: I know what you mean cp.....that concept could be torn down and shown wanting on so many different levels, I don't even know where to begin.  :sigh: Blessings....

Hey you all.  Good answers.  I got the impression from watching this video that what he was saying is that that the Eternal is before and after time (the ages).
Do you think that is what he meant in a round about way?   It wasn't particularly scholarly in presentation, but I just wondered if that was the gist of his message.

Cardinal, yes we could go round and round in a circle talking about Eternity!

God is like Pi = 3.14159... infinite, without end

Lets assume the ages last 1 year.
Then eternal is not only split up in 2 'small' parts but it's also missing 1 year time. So I don't agree.
What I can agree with is that the ages are part of eternal.
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

The best way I hear was from one of J.P.Eby's comments the goes something like this, Eternal take away the time issue or eternal is a scale outside of time altogether.

Yes, Lee - I once saw a time-line that showed Eternity at both ends with the ages of time in between them.

....ETERNITY----ADAM---MOSES---PROPHETS---JESUS---PENTECOST---CHURCH AGE ---TRIBULATION/TABERNACLES--1000Year REIGN---ETERNITY....

And who is this "formed" one in you that comes out of the wilderness?
Is He formed in you or "revealed" in you?
Is He the "revelation" of Jesus Christ who always was and always
will be.The eternal ONE.

And this is eternal life, that ye may KNOW Jesus Christ
and eternal life.

Big Selah!

'eternity' is such a philosophical term, all will be made alive in Christ and gain immortality, does it matter wether it will be in 'time' or a realm outside time?

Amen!  Great way to say it and show it.
