Converting from a Hellyun...

Hi.

I first came across this site a couple of years ago when I googled "Is hell real?"

I was taught from nearly infancy that there was a place with fire where people who reject God go to burn forever and ever and ever...

I'm 43 now, and with the past 10 years God has been quietly prompting me to look further into the doctrine of eternal torment, which is what led me to this place- for which I'm really grateful. :)

I know 10 years seems a long time to take in submitting to the Lord. What can I say? I had a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe my own traditions! Tradition was so strong, that even though I first started reading here over two years ago, I'm just now letting it "take hold".

I'm glad I've found this site. My eyes have really been opened to the serious errors in what I've been taught, and have to taught others. Thanks to God for it.

I know she'll eventually come around. She freaked when I told her I was giving up the rapture heresy in the late 90's, too. It took several months, but she agreed with me in the end.  :happygrin:

hi...  :NewB1:  I can relate... was called out in 1989 for a long season alone with the Spirit of the Lord... and during such, was told to lay down all my preconditioning...aspects of what it is to be unredeemed, which taints His Spiritual truths... and could cause one to walk in presumption, bound to traditions of men...  so HE could resurrect that which was His truth. Was led to stand in the gap while doing so ... Went through a dark night of my soul and spiritual senses.. with the blessing of knowing... no matter what... Father loves us... nothing we do will destroy that love nor can we earn it... truthfully Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith... Father having predestined such for us... and our fiery trials and overcoming tribulations are a spiritual gift motivated by love ... which is used to cause us to become who we were created to be in spirit and in truth... and...... (for another post) 

Have been led to write and publish what I receive while going through such at www.EnterRest.com 

Recently was invited to mychurch.org and was led to create mychurch.org/havingenteredintoGodsRest a blog space for and from the body of Christ... (am being led to post some of what I have received while resting in HIM and HIS completed work ... while alone with Him going through this regeneration/restoration process as well as some fresh writings and hope others will link/post there as well).

Jack from there/here invited me here... thus far am finding it such a blessing to discover others who have received some of what I heard... while alone with HIM.    :2thumbs:

Seems to be this space will be another milestone along the way... to keep encouraging me HE is definitely in control.... and working in us and through us according to HIS timing and unfolding eternal plan!!!  :happygrin:

Hope it is in HIS will for me to continue reading/posting here... as I find I am called to write... but never know for sure where it will end up and when... have definitely learned, HIS timing is VERY important!

It's truly been good to all of you... looking forward to meeting more of Dad's family!
