Israeli Sanhedrin Warns the U.N.

The Sanhedrin has warned the UN General Assembly not to hold a plenum debate on the anti-Israel Goldstone Report.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the UN's member states, the Sanhedrin warns that continued consideration of what it calls the "hostile, fallacious, and malicious" Goldstone document will bring upon the world the catastrophic events described in the Bible's Book of Joel, Chapter 3. . . .

The Sanhedrin then explained by what authority it issues injunctions to the United Nations: "The International Court of the Sanhedrin operates by the power of the Bible, the only Holy Writ whose essence was handed over to mankind at Mt. Sinai [the Torah], and of the Prophets, sent to all nations of the world and universally held in respect by them. By virtue of this delegated authority, passed down from one generation to the next ever since the time of Moses our teacher, the master of all of prophets, and by virtue of the succession of authority in Jewish tradition, we appealed to you that you might not fail and thus fail the world, bringing upon it catastrophe" . . . .

The letter is signed by Rabbi Dov Stein, Secretary of the Sanhedrin, and Rabbi Prof. Hillel Weiss, spokesman.

MY COMMENT:

They appeal to the authority of Moses, as if "the succession of authority" automatically means that they believe exactly like Moses believed. Jesus said in John 5:45-47,

(45) Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you in Moses, in whom you have set your hope. (46) For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote of Me. (47) But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?

The Sanhedrin obviously has ruled that the Israeli government has the right to mistreat Palestinians in their attempt to make life so miserable for them that they will voluntarily leave Palestine.

They do not understand the bigger picture, because they are still locked into the mindset of the Old Covenant, having rejected the New Covenant and its Mediator many years ago.

In their rejection of the Mediator of the New Covenant in the first century, the Sanhedrin voted to retain the Old Covenant given at Mount Sinai IN ARABIA (Gal. 4:25). Arabia is the inheritance of Ishmael, and Mount Sinai is "Hagar," the mother of Ishmael. So the Jewish Sanhedrin inadvertently put Jerusalem under the lawful authority of Ishmael.

So God saw to it that the Jews were removed from that land, and ultimately, He gave that land to the children of Ishmael.

Now the Jews want it back, but they are unwilling to overrule or nullify their previous legal ruling in the first century, which brought about the change of authority in the first place.

Sorry, rabbi. The law of God does not work that way. You have put away the law by your own traditions (Mark 7:9).

God has appointed a new Sanhedrin in the earth. It's not just 72 men any more. David doubled the 12 princes to 24 courses of priests (1 Chron. 23), and the Sanhedrin was also doubled to 144. When the glory of God (Holy Spirit) was given, this number was multiplied by 1000 (the number of "glory") to 144,000. None of them are Old Covenant rabbis.

I think it is necessary to show out some of these things happening...especialy in Israel as most of us know that Israel is God's time machine...
it seems that the modern Israelites are falling further and further away from the Truth...that their King has come but they are rejecting Him, clinging onto an archaic law and priestly order which only leads one way...to death and destruction
we know that the "King of the Jews" is a priest of the God Most High (ie from the melchizediak order - the same as the king of Salem used to be...who was none other than Shem himself)

the religious opinions of man.........."...this is the scary part, numerous wars have been fought in the name of religion, and it is no different today...for Israel is justifying all their killings and demolitions by way of the old covenant...there's even now a Rabbi justifying the killing of children in a new book "because they might get us one day"...it makes you sick just reading some of his quotes...here's an article about that:

Long time ago I figured this out.  They are reading the Old Testament with a veiled heart.  not good.  Try reading the Old Testament without Jesus some time. :mshock:

That's really a telling verse, Molly.

I like the context of the passage as well.

On a positive note, though, I ran into a holly tree recently in the woods,  in a place where holly trees have no business being and have never been seen before to my knowledge.  I thought maybe I was hallucinating for a minute, it was so out of place. It was about 8 feet tall and looking very proud of itself and important among the scrub and tall pines.  I decided to decorate it for Christmas.  I know it's not right to ask for sign but this came without my asking, so I'll take it for one...

When the Pilgrims landed the week before Christmas in 1620 on the coast of what is now Massachusetts, the evergreen, prickly leaves and red berries of American holly (Ilex opaca) reminded them of the English holly (Ilex aquifolium), a symbol of Christmas for centuries in England and Europe (13,26). Since then American holly, also called white holly or Christmas holly, has been one of the most valuable and popular trees in the Eastern United States for its foliage and berries, used for Christmas decorations, and for ornamental plantings.

The version of the Holly and the Ivy carol that we are familiar with today was first published by Cecil Sharp. The Holly and the Ivy is said to have Pagan origins and may therefore date back over 1000 years. It is most unusual for a carol like the Holly and the Ivy to have survived over the years especially during the stern protestant period of the 17th century.
