God's love is relentless.
His love is total. Absolute and complete.
It's a raging, devouring fire in a parched forest. Consuming all in it's path.
It's the unstoppable waters of Niagara.
Lightening, irresistibly drawn to the earth.
Two lovers on the edge of climax.
Unshakable, unalterable, unwavering.

His love is demanding, insistent. It accepts nothing less than everything.

AND YET IT SERVES ALL.

It ravishes in it's service.
It consumes in its humility.
It captivates in its unselfishness.

It is a crown of thorns, a whip, nails and a cross. It is blood and sweat and tears and pain. It's a back of shredded flesh. A swollen, thirsty tongue. Spit on the face, and a beard torn out. It's the heartbreak of "My God, my God!"

It is relentless, absolute and complete.

And it waits. For the right and proper time. For it knows when the woman in childbirth feels the urge, her only choice is, push.

Wow, thanks. One of those times when something just 'comes' to you, you know?
I love your signature. Interestingly, I was going to use 'brink' instead of 'edge', but changed my mind. I think my kids might have a conniption if they see that part. But, hey, whatcha' gonna do? It fit. Besides, He's the one who came up with that whole deal, not me. They'll get over it.   :mpardon:

after reading  Job   many times  years ago and the Lord opened  the book for me to understand  , in a way that was Life to me and hope and  light and  the Lord gave me a storm one July  in  2000 or so , that was so awesome !
  I had no fear sis for my life , only felt His ''presence ''   within it  SO POWERFUL and  majestic   , I was actually  ''humbled ''  sis
humbled in such a way that made me  in AWE and  wonder of God
  and so thankful for  even every drop of water when I bathed and cleaned from that moment on ..[shower time was time to meditate on the Lord and praise His Holy name and just be thankful  for everything He was doing in our lives ]
it was a spiritual experience  , I never forgot and  desire more of !

  I also have   3 children , Nate is  special  , he will be 30 in Dec   , but is like a little child always  , he is mute but expresses beautifully without saying a word !  :icon_flower:

   and my 21 year old daughter  , who is learning that mom  does try and speak the truth and she goes though experiences  and learns now to listen  ,  lol I never say , ''I told you so ''   hee hee    we do tell them because we love them and try to keep the suffering at minimal  ha ha ! do not want them to go though needless  pain  of mistakes  God knows I have  learned though the ''school of hard knocks ''
  my  baby boy will be 19 in Nov  , and he is fixing to go into the air force in the spring ...

  and I am a typical mom , I dont want him to go , i will miss him and worry . but I dont want to worry , but trust God to get us all though this life ...  whole / complete  and in Love with the Lord God as He loves us
ps  we have a little   almost 2 year old ''pom''  whom has brought  such joy to this family , we all just love him to pieces  too,
  a big part of our family lol

Oh, my, Rose, this is such an incredible testimony. What was it about the experience that afterward made you thankful for water? How did it help you meditate on the Lord, etc, when you took a shower? I hope you don't mind about the questions.  :winkgrin:

I pray for God's most abundant blessings on your "little" ones, Rose! Wow, 19 and going into the air force... that's pretty huge. But, in God's will, we know that is the place of blessing in his life. He'll be safer there than anyplace else on the earth. And as far as the missing part goes, I certainly understand that... within a year I went from having my 3 sons under my roof to none. Painful stuff. But it sure helped me grow closer to Him. I certainly do empathize with you. Father, I pray Rose would be totally prepared when the time comes. I pray for peace.

Yes, I know what you mean about wanting to spare our kids from needless pain. Sigh. Because "hard knocks" is a school we'd rather they not repeat, eh? I try and keep my focus on His promise that His kindness leads us to repentance. And that the fruit of our wombs is BLESSED! Amen!  :2thumbs:

Thanks for the warm welcome, Cardinal. As far as the avatar goes... yes, it's a flamingo. It's a picture I took of a statue I have on the back of my sink. Glad it makes you smile... makes me smile, too.  :nod:

  Thank you for the prayer of peace   Ruth  much  appreciated   .. :icon_flower:

  The water in the literal sense  was to me like the Word / doctrine /teaching in the spiritual sense
and  was  seeing them both and being cleansed inside and out  sis  :thumbsup:

Deu 32:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
Our flesh is as grass  :HeartThrob:  I love the symbolism in the Word of GOD , It so helps me ''get it ''   for so long the Word of God  was like a foreign , till  the Lamb opened the seals  for my heavens and earth sis ...
Deuteronomy 32
The Song of Moses
    1"Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak;
         And let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
    2"Let my teaching drop as the rain,
         My speech distill as the dew,
         As the droplets on the fresh grass
         And as the showers on the herb.
    3"For I proclaim the name of the LORD;
         Ascribe greatness to our God!
    4"The Rock! His work is perfect,
         For all His ways are just;
         A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
         Righteous and upright is He.

    God bless you and yours  rose  :HeartThrob:
language  to me  :mblush:

No greater love than the one he has for me, Thank U Lord!!!!
