The Righteousness of the Law, Abraham

Look to your father Abraham, the Scriptures say......so let's do.

Under the LAW" sin "is" transgression of the LAW.
Your keeping that law is called "your" righteousness.........
Keeping it as well as one can yields a more peaceful and
quiet life in "this" life, .........but one cannot then rely on
that "keeping" for His Righteousness before God....for that
Righteousness is not of man but of God. He may appear righteous before man, but it won't fly before
God ......for the law's whole purpose is to bring one "to"
the TRUE Righteousness of God, accepting His Gift of
Righteousness, giving HIM all the glory, and "under faith" which the Law is NOT of faith, but faith is of God
Himself, and given to man, and under grace and faith,
"whatsoever is not of faith" is sin.

It all sorta boils down
to an "attitude" for LOVE is the fulfilling of the LAW.
The LAW is not done away, til ever jot and tittle is fulfilled. Love is the fulfilling. Jesus in His earthly life
was a "servant" to rulers, .......did He not serve disobedient man when He laid down His LIFE that He
might bring in a "better covenant" .........for the law
made nothing perfect, the "they" of the LAW could not
be made "perfect" w/o us, for the "us" of the "better
covenant" fulfills it. The Levitical Priesthood could not
bring about perfection, but the Melchizedec Priesthood
can. The "better covenant' can and Jesus is a heavenly
priest. Who LOVES.

Allow me to speak a bit on "Righteousness" which was
"imputed" to Abraham. The "true" Righteousness.

Somewhere in the New Testament it says clearly, we "wait" for the HOPE of Righteousness. So to "wait"
is like Abraham "waiting" for the FULFILLMENT of the
"promise."

There were those of the Jewish nation that were not as
Abraham. They made havoc of the things of God, not
having understood Him properly, to the extent that God
could say, "you have robbed ME, even this whole nation." They certainly didn't want to share "their" glory
or their God with one who obtained it by nothing but
receiving a Gift! They "thought" they had to work for it.

These are said to be still "waiting" but God is remembering and when
God remembers, His rainbow appears...Selah. Christians have by tradition been taught of looking at things
some of the similar way as the disobediant Jews of Romans 11 and they
too are waiting for the "covenant that takes away sins."
In many minds, they have not yet come to the Heavenly
Priesthood of Perfection, where one offers the "true" tithe.

What was it that Abraham offered to God that met that
requirement? God was "satisfied" with the SPOILS of
what Abraham offered HIM, and Abraham's offering was
made where? Not on earth, but in heaven. If according to Hebrews that tithe is "received" in heaven, it is also
"given" in heaven. So Abraham, the father of our "faith" is still doing what God said he would, blessing all familes of the earth! He "saw" the Day of Jesus Christ and the LIFE that would swallow the death and was "glad." Jesus told the disobedient that in the days of His
earthly mission. NOW........ Jesus is a
HEAVENLY Priest. And Abraham met him when? "After
the slaughter" of the kings. So when Abraham had taken the land that God showed him, he took what he
had gained in God after wrestling with those kings and
overcoming them, and MET with Melchizedec, Priesthood
of Heaven.......and there Abraham made his offering.

Nicodemus who came to Jesus "by night" did not understand about "heavenly" things......but Abraham did
He saw the DAY of Jesus Christ.

Scripture teaches us these things.......Psa. 50 says Gather my people together, those that have made a '
covenant.......with me how? by sacrifice. God does not
want our works any more than He wanted the slaughter
of bulls and goats. Our works sorta has a way of slaughtering one another. Because the LAW works Wrath. Scripture.

Why not accept the GIFT of Righteousness and give HIM
all the glory? It is truly all His and we shall all cast
our crowns that He Himself has given us at His feet....
thereby giving up any idea that "we" were receiptants
of His GRACE by any means of our own righteousness.
Grace is not earned, grace is given. Thus the journey into God is a constant teaching of His Own these things.
But we will know that we have been made the Righteousness of God.......because "of HIM."

So when will the HOPE of Righteousness that one "waits"
for according to scriptures, not be a HOPE, but a Reality.
It brings "life" from the DEAD. The Disobedient are
remembered. Someone in the heavenlies brings in the
covenant that "takes away" their sins! The New Covenant is the better covenant and is worked and written upon the people of God's hearts til The "mercy" of God's intentions in the Providence of God shows "mercy" to the "disobedient" even to them that had been "cut off!" Was not mercy offered the jews first?
Will it not again be offered to the Spiritual Jews first?
So that he can show mercy to the natural branch?
I see this all like a revolving door........catch the Lord
while He passes by. Call upon the Lord, while HE is
near. God's intention is to save to the uttermost those
that come unto HIM by Jesus Christ. He will rule the
mind that man has been born with...it will be GONE!!!
for the Covenant will have been and is fulfilled.........Love
that NEVER fails. And HE is the Covenant, He is the
Righteousness of God.....given to us.

The walls of seperation of Jew and Gentile under the OLD
Covenant will have been re written to JOIN TOGETHER
Jew and Gentile thru LOVE, the Mystery that was hidden
from the beginning of the world.



Put this on your shelf if you do not understand it all now.
I didn't either til God showed me....some of it, recently. There
seems to be no end to His pouring forth of Truth.

   two types of faith   the sand by the sea shore     and the stars  with the Light of Christ in them  a small light in a very dark place  and only the moon [ light /shadow of the law ]  comes around full once a month  :thumbsup:

Hbr 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, [so many] as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 



  when we look at Solomon/son of peace
his wisdom was  limited to the sand of the seashore  , seeing that promise of God , these things are written a certain way , and the clues are  wonderful!!!!   when Jesus come the LIGHT/wisdom  OF GOD  IS HERE   within a  mans   heart   for ever more . :laughing7: :HeartThrob:  this heart of flesh  Jesus being the first was given  by the promise of God in Ezek  when the  veil was torn / His heart of flesh   the blood / Life  water of Life freely flowed out  for all times/generations fulfilling the Law of Love  ..

the blood and water  from His SIDE 1Jo 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 

1Ki 4:29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that [is] on the sea shore.   

   when Jesus come ,, he said !!Mat 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.

I couldn't help noticing that Abram had his name changed to AbraHAM; an' we even got Shem's brother (Noah's son) outrightly named 'HAM'.
Having said that, don't yuh think it's rather odd that present day Jewish people can be so fiercely opposed to eating pork?
