Hey cog,

I do believe in your self appointed name. Chosen of God is totally appropriate as I do believe you are or at least will be as the Image in which are made is completed.

Being you believe you are one of only a relatively few saved (a chosen one) of God could you make comment  to those of us who are possibly only deluded, self deceived non chosen ones, the words of Molly? I know you may find me tedious and even a waste of time responding to as if I am not of the elect as you are then I won't be able to understand the mystery of Gods Word as only those in your rank can but could you please try to enlighten me a bit?

Job was a righteous child of God. Unbelievers do not love or seek after God unless they are sovereignly drawn by grace.( Romans 3: 9-18 ; John 6:44)

Cog, what about all of Mollys questions? I guess, being of the elect, you are way beyond me because I can't make heads or tails of your answer. I am sorry to be so dull and I'll understand how an enlightened one or chosen one just can't really relate to such a one as I but could you please try again?

Is there anything anyone can do about their 'unchosenness'? Did God maybe not choose some of us because we didn't choose Him do you think?

Is the praise and seeking of those not chosen just a waste of time for them? Or are you saying everyone who praises and seeks God is a chosen one? But every knee will bow and all the inhabitants of the earth learning righteousness is not really people loving God right? They are not sovereignly drawn by grace, right? These are forced to do these things?

That at the name of Jesus  every   knee  should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;  11  And [that]  every  tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.phil2.10

If you had read Romans 3:9-18, unbelievers don't seek God, they rebel and blaspheme His name.

Read Eph 1:11 to see why God chose His elect.

Weren't you an unbeliever once, cog? If so how is it you now seek God if unbelievers just rebel and blaspheme His name?

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: eph 1.11

and then I read what the counsel of His will is................

1tim2.3   For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth

Of selective theology and selectively read Scripture!  As either Elhanan Winchester or Joseph Huntington said in the 18th century, all of the promises of both destruction and restoration have to be fulfilled.

By coming on a site like this one and filling it with tons of stuff and then picking and choosing items can make for very biased material. If cog picks and chooses well she can make a case for anything she wants and IMO she wants favorable recognition from whoever.

By the way, did he, she or it reveal it was female? I read someones (Willie's?) post that I thought referred to cog as a she, anyway....................

Maybe she's in the running to be a Pastor and has to slay us to impress her future boss's?

Maybe a study on the "elect" is in order. They are also the "firstfruits".  When it comes to harvest time do you take only the first fruits and forget the rest? There is a plan and purpose for the firstfruits or "God's elect".  But the whole field will be harvested in the end.
