Because somebody posted a link on a political chat site to an article they probably found on google .... here I is.

I've now read many of the articles linked on the  front page of tentmaker.  I'm quite impressed.  The concept of 'universalism' as the founder of tentmaker defines it has always lurked at the edge of my mind and grew some when I accepted Jesus thirty some years ago.  The idea took a large step into the daylight of my consciousness when I read C. S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce" and a few of George MacDonald's books as well many years ago.   Studying the concept openly is very exciting.

Even seriously entertaining the idea has lifted an uncomfortable weight from my soul.  It is just so uplifting.  I have been unchurched most of my walk.  I dabble in Christian theology as well as study the Word.  I am definitely anti-Calvinist.  I lean to the Pristine Faith Restoration Society belief that the church has erred, that the Reformation did not go the whole way and that the early church fathers of the first and second century can help us understand more truthfully how to conduct our Christian walk and worship.

I am enthralled by the idea that Christ being lifted up will draw ALL men to Him.  I see it.  It is plainly there in the Word in many many scriptures.  I cannot however cut every cord yet that ties me to the idea of Hell.  That's scary.    It must scare a lot of people because they will jump all over anyone that even raises the question.

Anyway,  nice to be here.  Greetings.

Hi Scot!  Glad you found yourself able to find the birds of your
feather. ha

I noticed what you said up there about hell..........somewhere on here
"today" we were discussing that.

I myself, it is not mine to speak of and I don't often, tho I sure believe
this way, I think I know "why" they "jump all over you"......at least I
found it to be true for me. When God opens a door, it is always "well
oiled" ........when we get ahead of him, boy we have to push.

Most of my sharing is on Christ in YOU..........others are better at the
hell and ur than I am, tho recently God showed me something
I have not seen "anyone" explain it the way He did to "me."  The
Lord has to draw me a picture. ha  I will share it later..........usually
write in the members section.  See ya there. Lord willing.
