as I've slowly come to peace with all of my big questions, ive been trying to share what I believe.

in the realm of the "non-believers" their actually very open and find it refreshing to hear something that isnt "TURN OR BURN" and has made for some intresting discussion.

in the realm of those who are "believers" I get alot of angry bitter people...which I guess is understandable...its a BIG shout in the face to mainstream doctrines and things we are taught our whole lives. and ive concluded that such people that are so angry and so sure of themselves are probably not ready to hear. But I know that there are people out there that are ready to hear...and I want to help them because I remeber how confused ive been at times (still can be but not particularly on whether everyone is saved)and I guess Im just confused on how to find the people that DO need to hear?

We needn't try to do God's work, it's His to do.
We are vessels.
The Spirit will bring to you those whom need His love.

:cloud9: It's true....more often than not, it's the one's who have not been "indoctrinated" that are the most open to receive and He seems to go out of His way to anoint the conversations.

But I've noticed; the ones that are on the "outside" of the churches I've met were usually wounded and rejected by the ones "inside", so much so they woudn't even attempt to try go back in, if they ever went in, in the first place.

I seem to be used to deal with a lot of them that were raised up in church as children but were driven away by the constant condemnation they received as young adults making mistakes, either by relatives or by the church people themselves.

And even more sad, most on the outside, now think that GOD doesn't want them/won't receive them back again.  :sigh: There are so many bruised and battered sheep out there. Blessings....

True...I just wish there was a way i could more actively help

sure you can help, the thing is its like fishing. You gotta wait a while to get a bite. I know that the church has beat their doctrine into the minds of many, and so that when one speaks to them they want to believe and cannot accept the truth at the same time because it sounds true and feels right and makes since , but at some point in time a "well intentioned" pastor preacher or reverend has put into these people a doctrine of fear that inhibits. we put out the info open our arms and hearts and make our lives speak of the true gospel and of the eternal love of our creator because perfect love casts out fear.Be patient God has great plans for each and every one of us.!!

For it is God who works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Doc

You are personally experiencing the interesting fact that the truth will always have the most resistance from the religious establishment. It was the case in Jesus' day, and it's no less so in ours.

Cardinal

:cloud9: That's exactly it Doc.....the religious spirit holds His people in bondage......blessings.....

 O'wow,

that brings back to mind when I use to be in bondage to

that 'religious' spirit. People used to say.....'she's REAL

RELIGIOUS,isn't she" :mblush:

    I'm ashamed of all that,now.

well the whole message wasn't for everyone, thats why Jesus spoke in parables and also why he said that if yoou couldnt be holier than the scribes and pharisees that you could not enter heaven.

"To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given."   Really supports to me the statement "God veils and reveals"...when He chooses, and eventually all.
The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

peacemaker

"Wherever a dead body is, there the vultures flock together."

The message is for everyone, but not all hear it. Although, the time is fast approaching (and now is),
when the dead will hear HIS VOICE, and live in SPIRIT and TRUTH.

Peacemaker

"Life is not about a single event, it's a journey."

Hey Ninja,
QuoteI guess Im just confused on how to find the people that DO need to hear?

There is a "way", the Father is raising up "sons" that are willing to make a bold move. Children say, "it's daddy's job, but sons say, "what can I do for you Dad?". Don't be afraid to err, or over step boundaries, the sons of God have absolute liberty. There are only a few guide lines:

1. Be sure of your motive, pray, believe and act.
2. Identify, identify, identify! If you are mature enough in the fruits of the spirit, you won't be easily provoked, angered or weary. Take your time, this journey last atleast a life time.
3. Once you've began working with someone see it through....it takes a long time and much patience. No second guessing!!!
4. Take regular breaks, excuse yourself for short periods, talk to like minded people for encouragement and strength.
5. Allow God to show love through you, his is greater then yours.
6. Your a son, ACT LIKE IT. Be gentle, but with authority. Protect the sheep at all costs, even to great embarrasement.
7. When you fall, and you will, get up laugh it off and keep going. Trust me this will happen.

God speed!

:cloud9:  WOW PC, what a beautiful gif, thank you! I love birds, I have all sorts of feeders set up, including hummingbird feeders. Love to watch them. Sometimes I will sit by my pond real still just admiring the beauty of things, and hummingbirds will come within a couple of feet of me feeding on the flowers. They are just magnificent.

Something funny happened last week. I was taking a nap on the couch and I was awakened to a real loud chirping noise and my cat was in front of the French door just having a fit. I have a chipmunk heaven here, they're all over the place (I call them all Alvin, they all look alike, lol) and I thought it was an Alvin "arguing" with the cat again. It turned out to be a male Cardinal who was sitting there, and he and my cat were apparently having a quite heated "conversation".

Sorry for the off topic insert guys.... :laughing7:  carry on....... :HeartThrob:Blessings....

Raggedy Anne

Hi all -
Speaking of being on the outside looking in, that seems to be the place where Jesus finds himself in some of those letters from the angel of the Lord  in the Revelation:

"And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the origin of God's creation: "I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. For you say, 'I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing.' You do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich; and white robes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen; and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see." Revelation 3:14-22

I found an interesting article on-line: LOVE JESUS - HATE CHURCH
http://www.lovejesushatechurch.com/

It was years ago while listening to some taped messages by Gary Amirault that I was able to see the church as a drunken harlot (Circe).  What a shocker it was when I realized that.

Cardinal

:cloud9: Amen Anne......the churches ended up getting it backwards.

They thought that we were to meet to RECEIVE (from one man), when in reality if you read Corinthians the early "churches" (meeting in their homes), they were meeting to worship Him and GIVE (from all), out of what they had been given of Him either since they had last met, or as He gave remembrance. BIG difference, HUGE. Blessings....

Im going to disagree with many of the others on this tread, I think it IS our job to spread the 'good news' and Its not hard to find someone broken down who needs our help.

Theyre all over the internet, in almost every forum ive ever been in there is a religious section for people looking for some meaning.   On the outside world (where i would prefer to operate because ive been stuck in the house for too long) I would suggest leaving tracts in or around various churches for a start....Really well made tracts, because I doubt any church would give you a chance to speak about Universal Salvation lol.  Or even leave the tracts anywhere and everywhere....Bus stations, train stations, toilets, leave them in books you hand back to the library or give to friends...Just leave them anywhere you can think of....Who knows whos life you could save.  Ill tell you this, i wish id heard there were others like me a few years ago, i wouldnt be in the living hell im in now, and when i get better you can bet ill be spreading the world everywhere i go.

17 Yet Jesus answers them, "My Father is working hitherto, and I am working."
18 Therefore, then, the Jews sought the more to kill Him, for He not only annulled the sabbath, but said His own Father also is God, making Himself equal to God.
19 Jesus, then, answers and said to them, "Verily, verily, I am saying to you, The Son can not be doing anything of Himself if it is not what He should be observing the Father doing, for whatever He may be doing, this the Son also is doing likewise.
20 For the Father is fond of the Son and is showing Him all that He is doing. "And greater works than these shall He be showing Him, that you may be marveling.
21 For even as the Father is rousing the dead and vivifying, thus the Son also is vivifying whom He will.

reminds me of this parable /story
being a servant to the Lord has its persecutions and rewards

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

Mat 22:2   The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

Mat 22:3   And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Mat 22:4   Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage.

Mat 22:5   But they made light of [it], and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

Mat 22:6   And the remnant took his servants, and entreated [them] spitefully, and slew [them].

Mat 22:7   But when the king heard [thereof], he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Mat 22:8   Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

Mat 22:9   Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage

Mat 22:10   So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

Mat 22:11   And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

Mat 22:12   And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

Mat 22:13   Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 22:14   For many are called, but few [are] chosen.

Mat 22:15 ΒΆ Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in [his] talk

Mat 22:16   And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any [man]: for thou regardest not the person of men.

Mat 22:17   Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

Mat 22:18   But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?

Mat 22:19   Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

Mat 22:20   And he saith unto them, Whose [is] this image and superscription?

Mat 22:21   They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Mat 22:22   When they had heard [these words], they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
