Mars rising

Anybody here seen the e-mail going around when mars the red planet will be the size of the moon rising in the night sky coming this August

It looks very dramatic in the power point display but I do not know how to post that....... if someone else here I know does shoot me a PM with an e-mail address and I will forward it to you for you to see and post.

Here are the verses that talk about that........ There is probably already some talk on the prophecy forums about these verses being tied into this coming event. I did a search here and did not find anything

This is genuinely the first that I've heard of this.  Hopefully 2010 being the year of the tithe isn't something a bit more ominous than my thoughts have been about it, side by side with what the Holy Spirit's been showing me.  I guess it's been a pattern from the beginning though, and would be until the millenium, that there would be light in the land of Goshen, but....

The biggest possible angular diameter of Mars are 25.1seconds of arc (1 arcsec = 1/3600°). The smallest possible angular diameter of the moon is 29.3 minutes of arc (arcmin = 1/60°) - over 60 times larger than Mars.

The email is based on a astronomy article stating that Mars trought a telescope looks as big as the moon with the naked eye.

Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but didn't think it through logically.  In fact, posted what I posted and never gave it another thought.  The only thing that occured to me is what I was knowing from God about the season we've entered into, globally, and particularly with the Body of Christ, and just figuring when I saw the opening post that it must be just one of those things where Satan's reacting.  To be perfectly honest, never gave it another thought after my last post on this thread until I happened to bump into the thread again right now.  Wasn't even looking for the thread. LOL!  I was just like "whatever! get ready to do some Ghostbusting then!!"  Come to think of it, that planet's perdy near the size of earth.  Move it closer and it would be catastrophic!  Unless I'm mistaken and getting my planets mixed up, I think Jupiter's supposed to be the planet associated with the Messiah in Judaism anyway, rather than anything Mars related.  So, I'd be much more interested in absolutely anything related to it, whether another comet hitting it, or peculiarities with it's positioning in the night sky, or whatever.  Jupiter and the constellation Orion are supposed to be associated with the Messiah.

It's about half the size of earth.
More important is that its mass is 10x that of the moon.
Just imagine the effect that would have on tides to name just one.

I think several planets are assosiated with Jesus.
Or should I say kings/rulers in general because the Romans saw the odd planet alignments starting a few years before the birth of Jesus as a blessing for their own ruler(s) and empire.
