Who are we bringing into this covenant "with" us? Are we "bringing" others

with us, whosoever is near our Life?

If we read Deut. 29 where the "secret" of the Lord is touched upon, it would

seem so? The last verse there says "the secret of the Lord is with them that

God "reveals" it to, belongs only to HIM and to those He reveals it to.

Do YOU see it in that chapter? He must be talking about it being the "covenant"

that He came into with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the "covenant of PEACE"

Notice that when Jesus spake "I did NOT come to make "peace" it was a time

of "trouble, division, cross" but at the end, He promises a Covenant of PEACE.

Read this: Deut. 29

10 Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel, 11 Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the newer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water. 12 That thou shouldest enter F91 into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his OATH, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day: 13 That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this OATH;; 15 But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

That is us, who were not literally "there" that day, and look who all it covers.

What "is" a righteous man's REWARD?

Does it not speak somewhere of "children" being a "reward" of the womb?

Yes, it does: Here...Psalms 127:3 -

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Matthew 10:41 -

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

So we have established that a righteous man's REWARD is "children."

Consider "this" verse: Jacob shall not NOW be ashamed...........

Isaiah 29:23 -

But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel

Continuing from Deut.

Deuteronomy 29:12 -

That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:

Luke 1:73 -

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

Acts 2:30 -

Therefore being a prophet , and knowing that God had sword with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Whoso shall receive a prophet's REWARD, and a righteous man, a righteous

man's REWARD.

It is established by the promise of HIM to would be raised up that a Priest

after the Order of Melchizedec would sit on Davids throne.

That is in Psa. HERE:Psalms 110:4 -

The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Only in Hebrews is this "Priest" spoken of this way, men who have infirmity

are priest on earth, but "this" Priest is in heaven. And yet, Abraham met

Melchizedec after the slaughter of the kings. Selah.

What does the "establishment" of this Priest do?

Hebrews 6:16 - Show Context

For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an END of ALL STRIFE.

Hebrews 6:17 -

Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

Hebrews 7:20 -

And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

Hebrews 7:21 -

(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec

Hebrews 7:28 -

For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Deuteronomy 29:12 -

That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:

Deuteronomy 29:14 -

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

Deuteronomy 29

29:15

But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

Deuteronomy 29

29:1

These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

Deuteronomy 30

30:1

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deuteronomy 30:2 -

And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

In Deut. 29 we saw the promise of another covenant, that was to be made

or that was made "beside" the covenant at Horeb.........and in 30:2 up there

we see that it again speaks of thy children, thy wives, etc.

1 These are the words of the covenantwords of the , which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

And last verse in that chapter says this:

29 The SECRET THINGS belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Psalms 25:14 -

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant

So this "covenant" has to do with the SECRET of the Lord!

God Himself must show it to you. The Secret Things belongs to HIM, and to those

to whom "HE" will show the Secret Things.

Isaiah 65:15 -

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name

When it's "time" to bear the CROSS, it is NOT a "time" of PEACE.

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:I came NOT to send Peace,

, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 And he that taketh not his CROSS , and followeth after me, is not worthyworthy of me.

Inquire who is WORTHY?

39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

He that findeth his life...........LIFE.........shall lose it; ........or BEAR A CROSS

AND

He that loses it for my sake, "takes up his CROSS and follows" ........shall find it .......

The CROSS is "added" like the "law" was added; remember Abraham seeing the horror.

40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

He that suffers, shall reign! He that loses his life shall FIND it!!!

41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones who are bearing a cross?? a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward..

He that findeth his LIFE shall lose it; during the time of the CROSS and he

that loses his LIFE for my sake ........shall FIND it..........when?

At the time of the righteous man's REWARD.

What "is" the REWARD?

It is that he brings "with him" others, his children. Children are a heritage of

the Lord. Happy is he that has his quiver full.

Addition to Covenant to COVENANT

Quote: RLV
It is "what" the LAW is for. The LAW is to "bring us to Christ."
The LAW makes the "whole world guilty" before God.
When .....when....."properly used." God's intention for it.
It is not a condeming tool, and there's nothing wrong with the
LAW, Paul said it was HOLY. WHY did Paul say it was HOLY?
Because of where it had "brought" him. Where had it brought
him? To Christ. The LAW is NOT for RIGHTEOUSNESS .....IT IS
DESIGNED TO SLAY THE FLESH. Did not Paul say "that which
was ordained for LIFE, I found to be death." "Wherefore the LAW
is HOLY.
It was all in realizing the PURPOSE.

Red, if I may add this to your enlightening words:

The Law brings man to Christ, because the Law, the effect, is that which awakens one to seek the Cause, Spirit. In discovering the Cause, one cannot remain attached to the effects, for it is not possible for man's awareness to be in two places in the same moment. It is said that you cannot serve two masters. Not "you shall not serve two masters," but you cannot serve two masters. Either you live by the effects or you live in union with the Cause. Try to do both, and you shall remain ever divided and at war with yourself.

The Father is the Invisible Cause, the Christ, His Pure Awareness, is the Invisible Son.

This is "easier" SAID than done. Takes the Lord showing you.
Takes the Lord "doing it!" Takes "us" abiding in the vine. For
without Me, you can "do" nothing.
It means accepting "whatever" that comes
up in your life "as from GOD" to me, but I do have one question:
Moving, when in Isa. it tells, "They shall surely gather together
but NOT by ME," how does "that" fit in with this? I know that
the wolf shall feed with the lamb, and a child shall play on
the hole of an asp. They, whoever "they" are shall not HURT
in ALL OF MY HOLY MOUNTAIN!
Maybe I'll get this thing figured out typing right here. ha The "they"
then would be the asps and the wolves. Accept them as from God
for He is ruling them and He has made a "covenant' with the
"beasts" of the field, exactly what He promised Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob.....and exactly what the "secret" of the Lord was hinted
at in Deut. 29 way back when.......and He did say, "I will open
my mouth in parables, I will utter things kept SECRET from the
"foundation" of the world. Glory! What a God! Gosh, I saw
the answer to my own question. ha Just now. Do you see that?
I did a study not long ago, I may have put it on here, it was
called from "covenant" to COVENANT........I tell you, when GOD
decides to make that COVENANT is when all this happens.

Bless you my dear Moving! You are moving!!! always! ha

The River is Moving. Proceeding. Without End. and there's
LEAVES on the tree and fruit!

I just thought of something.
It is the COVENANT for the overcomers, the GRACE found
in the wilderness, there is no NEED in the city for a Covenant
it has to be for here!!! It builds the City! Right?

Timely.  If not my meditation time tonight 'cause I pass out from exhaustion, then very likely tomorrow.  Have to go grocery shopping.  Righteous man's reward gives me something to mentally run through the Scriptures while I'm at the store though.  This is about the only reward I haven't done a full study of.  Isaiah 54 comes to mind, as always.  For the person established in righteousness, all of their children are taught of the Lord.  And that chapter begins with telling the servants of the Lord to build an obscenely large house as a part of their heritage, and as the chapter progresses He tells you what materials to use as the Word comes to harvest in your life to the point of drawing in those material things that are a part of what the Scriptures say in the New Testament about the Lord giving us richly all things to enjoy.

We're instructed in 2Corinthians 8 that as we've grown in every other grace, we should learn to abound in this grace as well, as the test of our love being compared with that of others in the Kingdom already chasing this aspect of God's grace in order to be fruitful in every good work.  A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just, according to Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes, Psalms, and numerous other areas of Scripture.  I kept missing the kids aspect in my understanding of these things over the last 34 years.  I'd understand it to the level of the disciple, but I'd consistently turn a blind eye on this reward of the righteous.  I could teach entire semesters on the prophet's reward and demonstrate it in my life.  I guess it was a matter of God's timing in my life.  Or because of how dangerous this world has become, I needed all of the rest in order to guaranty the Psalm 112 invincibility of whatever family God would grow around me.

Especially timely for me,this post.

The spirit had been speaking of someone being just one...

that became numberless as the sands and stars...

ONLY GOD CAN MAKE A FAMILY...that perfect bond of UNION

             LOVE

A house divided against itself can not stand

more are the children of the desolate woman[in wilderness]

Who bore me these? I was all alone.
