we have discussed the existence (or not) of the New World Order and some believe that the current economic crisis was created as part of this NWO to establish a global dependence on a single currency.

Now my question, are there any other alternatives to the existing financial system that people know about and perhaps have put into practice?

WhiteWings

The alternative is a superbank.
The hardware for it supposed to be ready and waiting somewhere in Switserland. I have to dig for some articles but the name of the system has an occult 'feeling'
Moving to a single currency my take a little more time.
USA, Mexico, Cananada merge int Amero. Europe is expanding it's Euro. So less and less currencies.
USA has the fed pulling all the finacial strings. In Europe we have our own fed. Not so powerful right now but soon it will be. If they start coorperating and throw China into mix then basicly there is a world bank.

Plastic money get more and more common. Little words slip out from the politicians. Cash is used for illegal transactions (funding terrorism) Counterfeit money. Robberies. All kind of things to prepare the way.
I'm fully convinced we moving towards that NWO or not.
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Doc

Another alternative is barter. This used to be very common. The biggest problem is you have to find those who are willing to do it, then you have to find someone who wants what you have and who has what you want. Not everyone is willing to go there; at least not yet. It's a bit easier to do with services than with goods.

Molly

I think it's much better when economies are locally driven.

But, even on the scale of the United States, that is local enough in this day and age.

We have such an intrinsically strong country because we have such a wide variety of climates and goods all under one umbrella.  We really could provide everything we need and more right on our own shores.

But, that would cut out the fat and parasitical globalist middleman.

Obama is off telling the muslims we are not a Christian country.  He is really nuts lol.

All our major values and law--at present--come from the Bible.  I hope it stays that way and moves more towards the New Testament.

Gold and silver would do just fine as a local currency--were it legal.  Or local banks could extend their own credit, and local currency could be printed.  Ideal would be to take back the printing of our own money because we do not have to pay ourselves interest.  But our treasury is rapidly becoming a function of the EU as far as I can tell.

The real enemy is the central bank, and the only thing worse than a central bank is a one world bank.  That is the beast of the book of Revelation.

Cardinal

:cloud9: I think locally driven economies are what is supposed to be happening. All of the problems, I think, can be pointed back to the day they decided to create artificial entities called "corporations".

I've also heard of barter organizations. I read about one and decided to google them and found a few. I think it's a good idea if you can find a match. Blessings....

QuoteThe alternative is a superbank.
There are already banks like these..."The bank for international settlements" and the World bank.
Google the BIS and your eyes would drop out when you see that this bank is constructed to look like the half-built (destroyed) tower of Babel!
The world bank is off course responsible for putting most of the 3rd world countries in eternal debt as they can never pay back their loans due to the excessive interest (ie usary)...
study the Scriptures to see what God's take is on usary

WW, I do not think another bank is the answer...we should look for alternatives

Doc mentioned bartering...that sure is a valid alternative but has many obsticles as he rightly indicated and Molly and Card mentioned locally driven economies...but this is exactly what the "new financial order" wants us to steer clear from, globilization is their aim...one currency, one world, one government...

I have been thinking about this for some time now and have a suggestion (it might be a naive one), but here goes anyway...
what if we as humans could present our natural talents to the community (local and/or global) and the community does it in return...

lemme give you an example...
say for instance my talent is to produce music, I publish my songs on a community web...person A in Argentina digs my song and he's a painter...and he sends me a painting...person B lives down the road and he's a farmer, he comes to my house and delivers a few bags of corn...

this system obviously relies on the goodwill of people and to take a chance with their talents and also depends on someone liking my talent and "rewarding" me according to what he feels my song is worth...could something like this work?

I never said/meant that. You asked for an alternative. The alternative under construction is a super bank. No cash. One world currency. I'm not saying I like it. It's a very good alternative if there is no corruption....

A bartering/trading system will not work. Much to clumpsy. I'm a farmer ands dump 3 tons of tomatos in the parkinglot of the cardealer as payment. :laughing7: That's why there is money in the first place.
But if you still like to get rid of money trade with gold and silver coins that have the value of their weight.
But that would work either anymore because the gold/silver is linked to the currency instead the other way around.
It's really simple. Kick out the fed and similar. Link cash to gold again. As an outsider I think Ron Paul would really have been the salvation of the small American worker and middle-class. I only looked at his finacial ideas because they would benefit the whole world. He lost the elections but at least still lives...
It's not the money. It's not the idea of banks. They are both very useful. It's the corruption that has to be cut out.
The USA will sink 3% deeper into debt each year. That's unstoppeble. For every dollar printed .gov has to pay back 103 cents. But how can you pay back 103 cents if no more than 100 cents exsist. Print more. More debt to pay. Print more.....

The bottom line is: With greed and especially corruption nothing will work.

there MUST be an alternative/s?

We will figure out/ be shown a way should it become necessary.

Each according to their contribution, for "He who does not work, will not eat."

But this is not talking about those who are unable to for reasons, other than being slothful.
After all, we could feed all mankind if it wasn't for the greedy sluggards and their money!

Now, what about the Amish people and their lifestyle?

Regarding their lifestyle?

They are primarily an agriculture society (i.e. farmers), and unlike most who have moved away from their families through the industrial/technological era's – the Amish typically remain together as a complete family unit; grandparents to the grand-children. When the elderly family members are unable to perform the heavy manual tasks before them, they still continue to assist their families by performing other useful chores around the farms. The younger men will do the labor intense work, and the women prepare the meals for all. Many families will come together in order to help each other, and often times, it is the entire community in which they live that takes part. An example, is that of building a neighbor's barn, or even a house for one of the families in the community. Although they may not all be farmers, as there are also carpenters, blacksmiths, cabinet-makers, etc., all will come together when it comes to harvesting in the fields. Amish women make their own clothing, bedding (i.e. quilts), and other such items which they may even sale.

If you have never been to an Amish auction, then check one out sometime? You might decide to buy an item, or two!

Yes, they use money, although not as a total means of survival, pay taxes, and may even have a few modern conveniences (i.e. plumbing, windmills for pumping water, propane and kerosene, but usually will not have electricity in their homes). However, they do not pay into social security because they do not collect it. Rather, they take care of their aging, whereas, the government does not. They will even build a "Grandparent" house along side their own, in order for them to have a sense of independence.

My Mother and Grandmother used to preserve foods; fruits in jars with wax seals, make jams, butter and homemade breads. And very delicious pies!

I also grew up in an agricultural society/community, where everyone pinched in to help others. Sharing whatever we had that another had not.

Sounds like absolute paradise, though I'm sure they have their difficulties, their areas of being strangled by traditions of the elders, etc.  I can't really relate 'cause I've never really had a family.  Oh yeah, all of the usual "in Christ" stuff, which seldom amounts to very much.  God's spoken to me about a lot more to come, though, so I just keep holding Him to it.  I hear a lot of stories like this, or not really stories but profiles about various groups like this, and have to keep reminding myself that the grass may be greener in some [or even many] ways, but unless the Holy Spirit has an ever growing Presence of the Written Word growing, expanding, and developing the group, it ultimately has it's own issues as well.

Does leave it's own shares of groans though, about compared to what I've had thus far, I'd almost trade situations in a heart beat, other than having the conviction that my heavenly Father used wisdom in where He had me born as He was spreading the blood of mankind under the sun, according to Acts 17.  Just keep seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness, and although I am believing for obscene amounts to fulfill all of the areas that I'm fully persuaded are the will of God for my life after intimate contact with Christ Jesus, my High Priest, Who has outlined some things for me -- nothing I'm doing is about money, although it'll sound like it to an uncircumcised heart and an unrenewed mind.

But I'm believing God for the whole package including this strange alien creature called a family.  Just keep pressing with the Written Word and refusing to let go, remembering the perseverance of Job and the end intended by the Lord.  No such thing as a need that there's not a provision in God's Word to give you victory over it.  It'll be neither something we'll have to wait for a future age on, nor something that we'll have to bring about through our own reasoning in the matter.  It's not something that we have to "get back to."  There are specific promises of God's Word regarding God putting people in families, God being a husband to the widow, God being a father to the orphan, etc.  And everything that God's been teaching me in the Scriptures about that is abundantly clear that although it'll be rooted in the Word in the Spirit, it doesn't have to be without tangible manifestations.

All of you can do whatever you're going to do, since it's what you're going to do anyway.  But, everytime I've ever tried to look for it out here in the natural, rather than seeking the inheritance of it in the Written Word and in the administration of Jesus' High Priestly ministry through the operations of the Holy Spirit, then I've inevitably fallen flat on my face, judged with human judgments, and have usually missed the very thing that would have been much better that was staring me right in the face.  I've had too many regrets based upon things that God has brought up in teaching me regarding how His provision was always there regarding various things.  Obviously, I've given them all to God and am delivered of them.  But the last 3 years in particular, I've been very careful to not go anywhere but to the Jesus Christ, the administrator of the New Covenant, expecting according to the Written Word for the operations of the Holy Spirit to be there to give me everything that I need.

As a result, I'm starting to see those still waters and green pastures.  I've had my fair share of items to add to the prayer board, like many others around here.  But I'm starting to see the faithfulness of God in the land of the living when I stepped it up a notch in my degree of commitment to the Written Word of God.  I've got some things that I can already see starting to ripen on the vine as I've sown the Word and sown the Word, and have done everything I've found in the Word to have a life fully yielded to the Christ Jesus, as the administrator of the New Covenant.  The more firmly I lean upon Him by leaning upon the Written Word of God, the more I'm seeing Him administering the operations of the Holy Spirit in my life in demensions that I genuinely thought would take me another 20 years to grow into.

I genuinely don't believe that the Outpouring upon all flesh of God's Spirit is very far away.  A translation or two will have St. Peter saying in Acts chapter 2 that "this is the beginning of that" which was spoken by the prophet Joel, that in the last days I'll pour out My Spirit upon all flesh.  And yet, so far we've been seeing only the stage of Scripture described by James in the book of Acts as the restoration of David's fallen Tabernacle.  The promise of the restoration of David's fallen Tabernacle does go on to say that it's so that the rest of mankind will come to Him.  But thus far, what we've been seeing is a first fruits company of ministry teams and of the fields that have been ripe for  harvest.  We're not very far away from His Outpouring upon all flesh.  The way that I read Scripture, we'll still have the special anointed ones raised up by Christ that St. Paul spoke of in Ephesians 4 and elsewhere until at least the New Earth.  I believe that 1John chapters 2 and 3 indicate that although I realize that my hermeneutic along those lines isn't seamless yet.

But we're right on the edges of seeing what we've never seen before with the Body being the Body that Ephesians 4 talks about where we're unified in the faith and unified in our knowledge of the Son of God.  The fullness of the measure of the stature of the anointings, not only on the anointeds that St. Paul talks about in Ephesians 4, 1Corinthians 12, and his pastoral epistles, but everything working in fullness of power in the discipleship of the nations where you'll see that camaraderie throughout the Body in the earth where the whole Body is sowing and reaping and there are no needs because as we're giving, the anointing is reproducing it faster than we're sowing it, so that the harvester is overtaking the one that's planting the seed, as I believe is described in Amos.  Much greater than what's in the early chapters of Acts is what's on the horizon.  Much greater closeness and meeting of one another's needs is on the horizon.

We're entering into centuries of every need being met, where there will be enough for every good work as it says in 2Timothy 2 and 2Corinthians 9.  We are on thin ice, in a good way, where we're right on the verge of falling into this very situation of the global family of God in the earth actually being the family that's Named after Him according to Ephesians 3 and Colossians 3, and calling upon all of the nations to submit to the reign of the Gospel in the earth.  We're right on the verge of the fragrance of love overpowering the stench of sin that we've had so far in the earth.  We are honestly sooo close to the cures of all of these diseases, including that of premature and degenerative aging.

It seems like it's the thinnest membrane in front of us with all of the fullness of His will being done on earth as it is in heaven being held back by the tiniest resistance now -- compared to the brick wall that seemed to separate us from it for thousands of years.  We are just right there.  I can see that thinning veil right now as I'm typing.  I'm wanting to throw a chair at that thing right now, but I know that all I'd do is tear my stuff up and traumatize my cat if he were in the wrong spot at the time.  That thing is thinning sooo much and sooo quickly as we reach this omega point that's just moments away in front of us.  I'm wanting to scream 'cause I can see that thing deteriorating in front of me.  But it's going to be the prayers, the worship, the thanksgiving, the generocity, and the obedience of each of us to Christ Jesus to punch through that thing the rest of the way.

Oh, that thing is sooo close, I hope the Body as a generation doesn't decide on 40 more years in the wilderness (figuratively) on this.  UGH!! I hope it's not another couple of centuries on what I'm seeing.  This is sooo annoying 'cause it's just right there.  I'm making zero predictions on when.  But too much in Scripture indicates to me that that's our baby to birth.  Romans 8, Galatians 4, and other passages indicate the burden on our guts and on that of the Creation around us.  God, let me step into that world even if it's a parallel world to this one entering into it right now and I wind up having to pull an Enoch over this or whatever.  Oh!  I want out of this world and I'm not talking about croaking or traditional raptures.  Oh, I can see all of it right there for the inheriting.  It's right in front of me and I can't explain it any better than that for anyone whose never experienced seeing the full harvest in the Word like that.

Adult Stem Cells Improve Diabetes Now!

In a Stem Cell research study that is being published today in the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), Adult Stem Cells have been used to help patients with Diabetes Type 1.

20 of 23 Patients Helped With Their Own Adult Stem Cells
23 patients who were newly diagnosed (within 6 weeks) with Diabetes Type 1 were first given chemotherapy to dampen their immune system, then they were given their own stem cells taken from their blood.

Of those 23 patients, 20 "reduced or ended dependence on insulin as their bodies took over production of the hormone." Of those 20 patients, 12 of them were off insulin for a long period of time, while 8 relapsed and went back to taking small doses of insulin.

The stem-cell technique "remains the only treatment capable of reversing type 1 diabetes mellitus in humans," wrote the paper's senior author, Julio Voltarelli, and colleagues at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in the U.S. Use of Adult Stem Cells "in the hands of the FDA"

Unsurprisingly, Dr. Richard Burt of Northwestern University was one of the stem cell doctors who authored the clinical study and luckily he added a little more insight- ""We work 24/7, and we're getting there as fast as we can. It's now in the hands of the FDA"

In the hands of the FDA?  Why do you have to be such a killjoy Dr. Burt?  You just killed all hope I had of seeing this available in the United States.

Speaking of FDA, another doctor, Dr. Christopher Centeno, involved in Adult Stem Cell research has formed a doctor's group who are challenging the FDA's silly rules that a person's own stem cells are drugs. A group of laymen are also joining the cavalry and if you are reading this, I recommend you join them– go to www.safestemcells.org

Stem Cells Cure MS, Woman Dances and Walks Down the Aisle at Her Wedding\

By Thane Burnett, Toronto Sun, December 24, 2006
Suffering from MS, Jennifer didn't have to fly all the way to China for a medical wonder.

She found her hope at home in Canada, as well as a future that included a wedding.

However, some were less willing to sit back and wait, which was the case with sisters Shannon and Erica.

Because they couldn't get the stem cell procedure in North America, the sisters came to Shenzhen, China, an hour away from Hong Kong to find their answers. In North America, options and doors were closed.

Jennifer is walking proof of the power of stem cell treatment.

Under the watch of Dr. Harry, she is among 14 Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients to be treated with stem cells derived from their own blood.

He and Dr. Mark (neurologist) have discovered a method to take MS patients and collect their stem cells. The MS patients then undergo extensive chemotherapy. Their immune systems are destroyed, and then they are immediately infused with their own purified stem cells.

Jennifer was patient number six out of fourteen, and she has returned to normal life with every single other patient who underwent treatment.

And I'll try to find an article or video link about this, but there's a drug that they were talking about on the local news yesterday that cuts the healing time of fractured hips in half and may be the very edges of a cure to Osteoporosis.  They were talking about all kinds of bone breaks where when they started giving them this drug to take while it healed, the healing happened in half the time or faster.  For those that aren't going to look into some of the natural alternatives or are going to buy into either Mayo Clinic or somebody else's cynicism about natural remedies being placebos, then this is really good news that they might be able to do something with a drug about bone density.

I have a sneaky suspicion that they're going to wind up eventually prescribing either this or something like this (perhaps a tweaked version, whether lower dose or in combination with something else) to folks that are at high risk for a an Osteoporosis related fracture and then after a week or two on it, then they'll put them on the exercise regimen that'll really go a long way towards rebuilding their bones with proper nutrition, proper hydration, rest, stress reduction, and attitude adjustment.
