Sadly, some church-goer think that freedom mind people is a act of "rebellion" against God, we should be lucky because the devil doesn't grant freedom because if he does, he will make the whole world look like it was done by Joker from the dark knight.

The devil doesn't need to do much. Just feed greed and hate a little and that's about it.
I really doubt if all those religious conflicts between Christan denominations really are a fight for the Lord or just a fight of hate towards eachother. IMO it has nothing to do with relgion. White hates black. Catholic hates protestant. Football fan A bashes in the head of football fan B. Etc.
