I was introduced to someone a little while ago, unexpectedly, or rather Someone introduced themselves to me is probably a better way of saying it.  Revelation 16:5 mentions the Angel of Waters.  Had I not become acquainted with that verse over the last couple of years of very intensive studies/meditations in the book of Revelation, I'd of blown off any reference to Him as gnosticism since the gnostics got weird about Angels.

I spent a little over a half an hour with this literal dude a while ago.  He just walked in and started sharing from the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation.  I'll get into some of the things that He said eventually, but right now and for the next few hours/days/weeks or so, could anyone with an insight on water in the Scriptures share specifically on water in the Scriptures in this thread?

Give me what you've got, whether you've got to get detailed with any of the Jewish feasts or whatever.  Stay within a Biblical outline on water though, but take your liberties whether that means anything historical or how you see water connecting between all of the Scriptures allegorically.  I'm still buzzing right now, from this Visitation, so I'm not sure how coherent what I'm writing is.  One teaser: Psalm 23 [phrase by phrase] is everything from Genesis 1:1 to beyond the reign of Christ into the all in all world.

Anyone in California without flood insurance, I'd honestly do something about that rather than having the "it'll never happen 'cause it's not supposed to happen here or to me" attitude.  I won't say any more about that, and that's not related to this experience that I began this post with.  It just made sense to say something about it all of a sudden.  Better to have it and not need it than...  I'd been debating for weeks whether or not to say anything about it, but after my experience that I had within the last 3 weeks that I shared on the Testimony board at these boards, I'll just say that it honestly couldn't hurt to have it even if it's never occured to you to have it in that area of the country.

Hey Martin, right off the top of my head comes the fact that we are physically made up of mostly water. This greatly intrigues me as I firmly believe the physical is one of Gods ways of talking to us of the spiritual. So what does this mean?

I see Jesus as walking on water as the divine mastering the carnal essence within all people. God so loves the world (me, you, all people) that He sends His Son (to walk on us), to save us......

Rev 17.1  I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot that sits upon many waters.....

Of course I see water as a good thing in Scripture too like how our Shepherd lays us down beside still waters and so on.

But my main thought right now is how we are made up of water physically and how that so coincides with our process of being made spiritually. We go from rough to perfect. We are His workmanship.

I don't know, just my  :2c:

Hi Martin,

I think this is what you are wondering about.  Go to Gen 1 and
you will see that at first when God moved upon the "face" of the
WATERS, that there were "waters" and they were divided by a
"firmament" from WATERS.  I say "waters" and WATERS from above.
The lower waters are in the first realm.  I go to Hebrews nine
and see there are two realms.  The holy place, and the MOST
HOLY.

Ezek. was shown the waters progressing, til they became a RIVER
that was too much for any man to cross.  Ezek was brought from
the "brink" of those Heavenly WATERS to which he had ascended
because God was going to use him in causing others to receive
their inheritance.  Our inheritance is the UPPER WATERS.  WATERS
from ON HIGH.  The rest of the waters are temporal like everything
else in "this" world.  But they are a divine service, Heb. nine. says.

John in the book of Revelation was shown a RIVER "proceeding"
from the Throne of God.  With the TREE of LIFE on either side.
Not blessings on one side and cursings on the other.  That was
nailed to the cross for us tho we here a little, there a little, actually
see and experience it.  There was NO NIGHT, first realm, in the
RIVER of Life.  Night or the MOON brings us to the Law of the Spirit
SUN, and SUN/Son brings us to Immortality, the Light of the City.
MOON, or Law of Sin and Death, Paul called "holy" for by "it" he
was "slain."  I know you know the scriptures.  God called it all
"good."

And the servants of the Lord poured water into the earthen vessels used for the purifying of the Jews until filled to the brim........... and then the water was changed to wine.

I was stuck in a less than ideal situation and was wondering why the most awesome ministry that the earth has ever seen main kick off event was portrayed in such a way....... then the prophecy and future of his ministry unto today was made visible.

I think that the first miracle reflects what we do as we share with each other the things that we are shown and as Card spoke of the inward effect........ at the same time we are warned that if we try to limit the space within us that we are willing to give to Him by not being filled to the brim with the one Spirit/Word that is Him, we will not experience the change from Christ in us to the high calling of us in Christ.

Here's something to ponder . . . but ya gotta read it all . . .
Ezekiel 47
3-5 He walked to the east with a measuring tape and measured off fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water waist-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet. By now it was a river over my head, water to swim in, water no one could possibly walk through.

6-7 He said, "Son of man, have you had a good look?"

Then he took me back to the riverbank. While sitting on the bank, I noticed a lot of trees on both sides of the river.

8-10 He told me, "This water flows east, descends to the Arabah and then into the sea, the sea of stagnant waters. When it empties into those waters, the sea will become fresh. Wherever the river flows, life will flourish—great schools of fish—because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds. Fishermen will stand shoulder to shoulder along the shore from En-gedi all the way north to En-eglaim, casting their nets. The sea will teem with fish of all kinds, like the fish of the Great Mediterranean.

4 times he measured off 1500 feet . . . ever do the math with that?  1500 x 4 = 6000 . . .a day with the Lord is as a thousand years . . . .  It's a time-table . .and after the 6th day . .the last day of labor . . . the river is so deep that man .  . . again, man=carnal mind. This river will fully consume our natural thinking . . .it's over our heads . .it's beyond our imaginations (mental images)

And out of us shall flow what?  Rivers of Living Water . . .we are those fishermen standing shoulder to shoulder . . .we are casting our nets out into the depths of the spiritual "inter-net" and there are some who cast bread upon the water, and others cast nets . . .for me, the fish is the different forms of life that God adds to our nets . . .each day . . .we log out . . hopefully everyone has received something from someone . . .if not, we can't blame God . .the fish are there for us to receive . . .we just gotta keep the holes covered so we don't miss what the Sea of Life has for us.

God called Ezekiel to go beyond the 4th measure of the river . . .hmm . . . that sounds pretty deep in and of itself.  But for me, it's not about what's in the six days that really matters . . .it's about realizing the purpose of the 6 was to make way for the 7th.  If it's beyond your carnal mind (6000 feet . ..over your "head") then maybe that's why Hebrews 6 tells us to "leave the principles of the doctrine of Christ BEHIND us."

Just thinking out loud

:cloud9: Amen Doug. Father, fill us all unto the brim that we might be changed into the new wine of the Kingdom, ready to be poured out on a waiting creation.

Wow. He must be wanting us to explore this topic a little. As soon as I finished the prayer above I saw something else in this I never saw before. It never hit me that when He said this is my body and my blood, He was actually speaking about a meat (bread) offering and a drink (wine) offering, ala Leviticus. There's something else in that, going to have to check that out. Blessings....

Where the Living Waters flow.............and it shall flow like a
River.  These are the UPPER WATERS that no man can cross.
Neither can He cause to flow.  They are the WATERS that came
down to "cut off the waters of Jordan."

Also, when it is spoken "sacrifice and offering thou woulds't
NOT, but a BODY thou hast prepared Me."

The type "sacrifice and offering" God is NOT wanting is
spoken of in Psa. 50, and is there "and" in Hebrews compared
to the "blood of bulls and goats" ........our own works.
There is Psa. 50, you will note that He calls His own to Him
that have made a "covenant" with Him, by by by sacrifice.

The He says, "I will not reprove you for this.......but"

So He says "Your covenant with "death" will be annulled."

There is only ONE "sacrifice" that He wants recognized.
And only ONE "blood" ........this is why He said in Acts,
"abstain from .......etc."

Those that know the word will fill this in I'm sure.

The WATERS that flow like a RIVER and the BLOOD of
Jesus are the same...........from "above."  When the Lord
sends this "WATER" it always cuts off the waters from below.

There is nothing new under the sun.

The one thing that immidatley popped into my mind was that one must be born of water and spirit/Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God and that Ezekiel and Isiah propheceit that water and the Spirit or the Spirit in the form of water will be poured out on us.

Also that water and blood flowed from the side of Jesus when He was pierced with a spear. Another thing I was reminded of was the angel that stirred the water at the pool of healing we read about in the gospels. Hey Martin, wouldn't it be something if this would be the same angel?

Well, only my  :2c:!
