Jesus's language?

What language Jesus used when he quote one of the old testament in the bible? I noticed that some do not match from old testament that Jesus used in new testament like part Isaish. I can't remember the verse.

so what bible you used the most? I used An american tranlation by William F. Beck

maybe the people these days both spoke Greek and Aramaic

but as far as i know LXX and NT fit better together than NT and hebrew masoretic text

ID, I am the first to admit that I know very little on an infinite number of issues BUT I think I actually know the exact language Jesus used in every single word He spoke. He spoke fluant Spiritualese. This is the language of God IMO. Every word written in the old testament perfectly works with each word of the new when viewed through spiritual eyes and heard with spiritual ears.

I'm serious ID. No matter what human language you read God's words in you will not get the spirit of the message unless graced with spiritual eyes like I hope to get some day! Truely, if a person has spiritual eyes then you could read Snow White and clearly hear God talking.

The Septuagint was the first translation made of the Hebrew Old Testament into Greek.  What I did not know was that it often reads differently from the Masoretic texts, the Old Testament texts that became standardized for the Jews after A.D. 70., and that is the text most of us have in our bibles today.

LXX is the Roman number for 70. The number of translators.
