Man in the form of fire

I got a letter from a prison the other day who is serving 290 years. Went to prison at age 19 and is now 36 years old. He now sees the message of the salvation of all mankind. I have a real strong desire to get some key messages into our prison system. I have a book that is almost complete entitled "Love opens prison doors." I sent him a copy.

Anyway he describes a vision he had in 2002. I'd like your thoughts. Do you believe this happened to him? Do you think he is delusional? On drugs? What?

"I believe I was enraptured in a vision that was the essence and truth of universal salvation....A man in the form of fire explained to me how "His creation has misrepresented him by thinkthat that he would allow his creation to be tortured eternally." He claimed that he was not the evil God that would allow such a thing.

As I focused my attention at the wall, it lit up like a movie screen. I noticed a man who was raising the dead and healing the infirmed and sick and many other manchild matters. This person was doing some form of preaching to the multitudes of various kinds of people. Then the man in the form of fire spoke to me and said, "That person you are watching that is doing those great and wonderful things is you."

Then I spoke back to him, without moving my lips (mind to mind) and said, "What do you mean that person I'm watching is me? I evasively claimed that I'm inarticulate, I get nervous just standing in front of a small classroom working out a math problem, and I do have 290 years to do in prison."

In a stern fatherish voice, he chided, "I am the same God of Love who used his power to raise His Son (Jesus) from the dead, and I will use a greater power to bring you about. Fear not! As I was with Moses, I shall be with you. (This was the first time I recognized Josh. 1:5 and remembered it.)

So I put on a tough convict act and said, "Who is you to tell me what I'm to do?"

With cognition he claimed, "I am the God who is, and the God who was and the God who is to come." He went on to say, "You will be ready and you will do this. You will be despised in the eyes of the people of your land. You are my son whom I will be well please with."

So I immediately dropped the tough convict attitude, and humbled myself like an earthly son would do with his earthly father -- with reverence and respect...

So the man in the form of fire went on to explain to me what each letter in the name Christ stood for. He said, The "C" mean Christ...the "H" means has...the "R" means Risen...the "I" means In... the "S" mans side...the "I" means Inside..the "T" means Thee.
To correlate this: Christ has Risen Inside Thee." He continued to explain "that you are one of the flock that Christ has chosen to reveal Himself through. You were chosen before the world was created. Your birth name is, The King of Peace!

To make this long story short, I was on my knees in a prostrating position from the beginning of this vision. The very instance I heard that voice tell me, "To get down on your knees, for you are on Holy grounds."

Brother, I would like to stop right here and pray and hope that you can give me some spiritual insight. I haven't mentioned this vision to J. Preston Eby yet. The mysterious fact is that all of Brother Preston's Bible Studies I can preach.

How will I know to step out in faith (healing) and not on imagination and mental impression and emotionalism, you know ecstasy?

Another fact is, since I have been in the Department of Corrections; age 19 to 36, i have been under heavy persecution. People who go out of their way to make me look like something that I'm not. I have never been in any serious trouble. When I do try to share the gospel with certain inmates, my spirit tells me that they (inmates) can care less about what's coming out of my mouth.

I cannot use my past testimony to inmates, for some odd reason they get nervous and report it to the authority. It is like everyone is putting on some kind of act with me. So why do I still love them? In the yesteryears I would have a negative or rage reaction.

So why whenever I here the name Jesus, it brings tears to my eyes and joy to my soul? I later found out that the Melchizedek name is King of Justice, and he was also the King of Peace, because Salem means peace. He remained a King-Priest forever resembling the So of God. (Heb. 7:2-3) (Gen. 14:17-20)

I pray that I have written the above matter in a manner that you can have a dramatic insight of these words by the Spirit and not after the flesh. The carnal (fleshly) mind would not understand a word I just wrote...
"In the Name of Love." "From Love He was created unto Love we shall return." end of letter.

So, friends at Tentmaker, what do you think? Was this from God? Is this delusion? Take it up with the Holy Spirit and if you feel led, give me some feedback.

I have had a simular experience, and known others who have seen God do the same. We ARE the Body of Christ, We ARE His Ambassadors. An Ambassador is one who has the same power and authority, representing the Body in Full.

Good testimony, hope he can bring that message to a people who truly need it.

also it seems to me God is giving this man a vision of the newman in Christ

Whenever I hear things like this, I am reminded of Gameliel. When giving advice to the Jewish leaders what they should do with the apostles of Christ, he said that they should just leave them alone because if it is not from God, it will come to nothing. But, on the other hand, if they are from God and you resist them, you might find yourself fighting against God.

God certainly has used less likely men in the past so who knows. Either way, thisman having hope about his future sure could not hurt. Its not like he is leaving a job and family to serve the Lord full time.

I pray that God's will be done in his life whatever that is.

This certainly lines up with what others have been seeing in the Spirit as far as God preparing to visit and use those from the highways and byways.  Every day, my heart and the heart of my husband is drawn to the down and outers in our area.  I pray this brother will continue to soak in the Lord, then he'll know when he's supposed to step forward and pray for the sick.
