Hello, I am Eric. I found out about tentmaker(and the idea of christian univsalism) from a few friends Id been talking to. Ive spent the past 4 or 5 months struggling extremly hard with my faith, and my slight universalist leanings are not very welcome on other christian sites.

Im not completley sure what I think about much of anything right now, including universalism. However, im very open and am willing to learn and discuss

Welcome Eric...seek first the Lord and His kingdom, and everything else will be added to you Matthew 6:33...eyes on Jesus, brother ...God's blessing, James.
The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

Welcome, this walk is a process, we all are learning, even when we believe we have it figured out.    :laughing7:

Greetings Bro . .it would seem God has you in a place where rebuilding is finally accessable in you.  It's never a comfortable place to be at first, but it won't be far from here that you'll be able to look back and be grateful that God shook your doctrinal foundations.  Don't worry, regardless of what your mind muddys up in your awareness, Truth has already been declared over you that you are His.  Just walk around in that room for a while and you'll see he's been a huge part of you this whole time.  We promise we'll go easy on ya!!  (at first anyway . .)  :welcome:

Hi NinjaWizards777,

I think I saw you post on another "bible chat" board, and possibly got booted by the mods over there?  (If it is you, I think it was the same userid).  Anyway welcome here!  I am new myself around here but have been reading & studying UR for about a year, at this site and a few others.

Cheers,
Legoman

Yeah....i was on bible chat. I got "suspended" because I entertained the idea of universalisim and I said the word crap...and they didnt like that too much

Seriously?  They got offended that you said "crap"?  I've used that word on occasion from the pulpit!  I wonder what they would say about the passage talking about asses heads and dove's dung . . . I often wonder just how it came across when Paul stated that his credentials, to him, are nothing more than a pile of  . . .to be descrete . . . dung.

There's even more graphic things than this in the Old Testament when referring to Israel's great lust for fleshly desires . . .the discharge of horses for example.  Apparently, there are just some things that a Christian isn't supposed to discuss when reading it in Scripture???
