how do i witness?>

i'VE Been telling ppl about UR but i don't think i'm doing enough for Christ. How do I witness without losing friends?

dont worry so much about witnessing TO people but just be a witness in how you act and walk.

remember, believing in UR dosent save a person, and not all people will or can recieve it until the soil of their heart is tilled.

also Yeshua, Jesus Christ has already done ALL  for YOU, in your mind you will never be able to ""do enough""

the more we ""do" the more we will think we havent done enough.

Being a doer of the word and not just a hearer, really is the best way to witness to the world about the Gospel.

Much of what we learned about evangelism, came from a broken church. We need to really examine what the purpose of telling people about the Gospel, and our motivation in doing so.

Some of the best witnessing I have ever seen, is just living a good life and love people and encourage them! They will see a difference in you and then ask you how.

When they ask how, that is your opportunity to share you heart.

Even then, we cannot control our friends or our so-called friends from choosing not to be our friend because of it. That is a reality that Jesus even told us would happen should we truly follow Him.

Be confident in everything you do, including in yourself.

Yup. People will believe in and be attracted by what you do far more quickly and effectively than by what you say; perhaps even in spite of what you say... :laughing7:

This comes from personal experience. Paint a beautiful "life picture" 'cause "a picture's worth a thousand words". Another way to put that is, "actions speak louder than words". They will know we are His by our love; not our T-shirts, and not our witnessing tools and methods...

Heres a thought, I believe it was Paul who said it (not sure) but it says "be ready to give an answer to anyone who ASKS about THE HOPE that is IN you". Now if we walk around hopeLESS (without hope) how could such an opportunity to present itself (to inquire) of a hope that is not presently in us?

Do we know what our HOPE is? Because simply telling folks they wont be burned to death is not really a hope (though it might be a RELIEF to know)  :grin:

that's my problem, because I have clinical depression and a history of suicide attempts- my only witness is that Jesus has kept me alive- not Brahman, Allah, or Buddha.

 :cloud9:  :thumbsup: to the posts on this thread. It's true, if you are manifesting openly some attribute of Christ, it's attracts, because to be openly manifested you have to have died to self at least somewhat, for "If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto Me", to take effect.

With me it almost always elicits the question, "What denomination are you?", because they can't figure it out. That opens a really BIG door with lots of directions to go in with that, right there, LOL. Blessings....
