Absolutely!

But everything you have sited has to do with justification.
Yes, our rightousness is filthy rags.
No, we can't do it on our own.
The blood of Christ is our justification.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, moving on to a totally seperate issue:

Sanctification- Sanctification is being set apart. It is dying a little every day. It is being in the world but not of it. It is walking in the Spirit, not after the flesh. (Totally seperate issue from justification)

Define repentance. Repentance means to turn or change ones mind. It is an action word involving action. (Totally seperate issue from justification) We are already justified, but we are not yet purified.

Hi alihaymeg ,
It sure does  seem  to be a process dont it bro ?

and it does not happen  in a flash  , but in time and place
as God gives the increase  :HeartThrob: in His longsuffering towards us   that we should repent and  be saved  wholly /completely
Spirit  mind / body and soul
Jesus is the reward  !!

4. atonement for guilt.

guilt seems to be synomous with SIN  :mshock:

and Jesus would  relieve the guilt of sin , by having something  given to us of Hisself!  His peace and His JOY   and His own righteousness
this coming from the Spirit of Holiness and Life
  to me anyways
