The guy has some humor  :laughing7:
QuoteThe Bible is best read with your own eyes, preferably open.

I'm still doubting what button to press at the poll.

What exactly does this mean?
QuoteI'm a Christian who is uncomfortable with the Bible's teachings when taken literally.
I'm very uncomfortable when literaly mean KJV-style.
But much more bearable if literaly means how it's written in Greek/Hebrew.

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Bible literalism can mean an array of things but it's generally applied by adherents to things like Jesus riding in a literal sky on literal horse or the literal physical elements being burned up - that sort of thing. It also can extend to a literal 6 day creation etc.

Kent Hovind style  :happy3:
The funny thing is that Jesus did ride a horse in the sky.
7834 qx;v; shachaq {shakh'-ak}
Meaning:  1) dust, cloud 1a) fine dust 1b) (thin) cloud

I also believe in 6 day creation. (But in a totally different way as Hovind)

Just teasing a bit. Your answer is clear :laughing7:

You should. They have the best links  :laughing7:
I'm not saying you should spend half your life on those sites; but if you fear to get confused on such site; how strong is your belief?
It's the 'touching stone' (Rev 20:10)  :laughing7:
