Hey Brothers and Sisters @TM:  Just wanted to say thanks before I shove off.  It's been fun, but I think it's time for me to press on to other things in my life and stop spending so much of my free time on internet boards.  I confess that I do get somewhat distracted by this and I feel lead to devote more of my time to helping others locally here where I live.  I have enjoyed posting here and believe you guys have the best form or Christianity in the world.  God bless you all and thanks!

I feel like there's so much more to say.  Surely you can stop in now and again.

I've been considering for my own life something like what you express.  I get so much more into the Glory worshiping than I do striving over doctrine and Scripture meanings.

I've been thinking about the possessing of Canaan and those 4 points you wrote out as things you couldn't accept.  While each of us has a certain freedom to think what we will, though we must undergo the consequences, I can't get why, for example, this event of "the breaking forth on Uzzah" bothers you.  And when he reached out to steady the moving of the (ark of the) presence of God, as if it was just another thing that could use the help of a man, that profanity which God judged by slaying him you said you very much felt was not like Jesus.  David understood it as involving all of them, how they were responsible "because we sought Him not after the due order."  The details are symbolically telling when compared to God's prescribed way of transporting this container of the Presence.  They apply to how we function in relation to the anointing today.

There's not enough time to write all of this out and this isn't the place either.  What can I say?  If you're not here to explain your view I guess there are other reasons to meditate on these points in the Biblical record.

You can tell from this that for some of us there's stuff undone by your leaving.

Please don't go!  Just set a limit for yourself - once a week or less... or choose a certain day of the week when you post.   I know internet boards can be addictive - no doubt about that.  And of course I wouldn't really tell you what to do, but I hate to see you leave.  Goodbyes always make me sad   :gsad:
