Reggie White

I'm not into sports so I don't really know who Reggie White is.  All I know is that he was a Christian football player and for some reason God brought him to my spirit on Saturday. 

Specifically God brought to my remembrance when Reggie appeared on TBN a few years ago when he said that he was studying the scriptures in Hebrew.  At the time that meant nothing to me because my good ole' English bible was just fine and perfect.  I actually thought Reggie made the statement to be boastful.  How carnal and stupid I was!  I admit it.

All I can say is God is still in eye opening and the truth business no matter how deep into churchianity we've fallen.

Very good read. But leaves me wondering what he REALLY believed. The media story revealed he believed the Bible translations had been polluted and he died feeling prostituted for having preached a specific message so publicly.

Wonder if we will ever know what he found in those Hebrew readings?

I wonder as well.  Whatever it was it caused him to cancel speaking to churches.  In another article it said that he began studying the OT Hebrew but was just beginning to get into the NT Greek.
