15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

It looks like you can fall from grace and not get it back.

Comes down to the hope of the gospel.
Hope is expectancy- we expect Christ to return.
Vs 27 " Christ in you, the expectancy/hope of glory. "
To stray away would be to look for some other salvation.

Yes it is , For me, it is always praying that Gods will being done  , Its Not His will any should perish , but all come to repentance.

this is the universalist prayer in a nutshell , that God is in total control and we ''rest'' in His work and will being done perfectly .to the end of all things

praying without ceasing in the Spirit Gods desire is being done from the beginning to the end though Our Lord Jesus Christ  and those gathered into Him already /with Him .

We obey Him and His authority over all things Holy ,just and good and perfect .   with a living hope in us .

The law makes us aware of sin , You have to realize  you   are a sinner  and cannot save yourself by the law , being also that even more prophetic ,

you break one law you break them all .

Making it impossible for man to save himself  no matter how much strength is spent trying to do so , till you come to the end of yourselves and  surrender your all before Him ,  weary and needing rest

He will save  us though the gift of God and our faith in Him to do so . what is not possible with mankind is possible with God though our Lord Jesus Christ . we wait on the Lord and for our

Living and breathing hope of  truth in instruction and Spiritual growth into all Wisdom of a very Holy and perfect heavenly Father    face to face . and be known  as we are known and all in All .

I believe the    perfect bond of trusting   His will and desire  being done  is the  key to it all .  I also believe  when we are praying in the Spirit  without ceasing  from Gods perfect will being done

Our faith is increased, and it becomes a living hope and a bond of perfect Love  that never ever ends [complete ]  perfection .

If we stumble God is able to make us stand and it just increases more faith and hope in Him  till the perfect bond of unity/love  in Him is  done  and the flesh is no more .

Jesus is the One whom keeps this all together  and those found in Him /with Him , following Him , till at last In 1 Corinthians  15   28 Jesus presents Himself before the Father  and God be  all in All

  The Order of Resurrection
?27For ?God has put everything under His feet.? Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him. 28And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.

29If these things are not so, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them??

This last question is profound , why do those that believe baptized for the dead if they are not raise at all ?

why be dipped into death for others and on behalf of Gods will being done by the perfect sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ giving Life to all mankind as a gift of Himself and His own Blood  if it did not matter  ?

It is because death is the last enemy to be destroyed and an end to sin by the works of the Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ and all found with and by, for and though HIM gathered in Victory as One already?

Just some things to consider if God be willing.

It is the power of God and His glory to be able to understand it all .
Jesus is the reward  !!

QuoteIf ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

When scripture says: 'God', it is saying all that is: 'good' ... ('Truth', 'love', (etc)).
Lies cannot 'save'.  Hate cannot 'save' (etc).  (Being: 'saved' means being restored to 'wholeness' (made sound)). - Saved from errors/imperfections (sins) (and death which is the consequence of sin).

So... BE IN God (love/truth) etc... Grounded and settled in Him - (knowing He (those things He is) 'save'). - That is the expectation/hope of the gospel (gospel meaning: 'good' message). (God = Good).

OF COURSE if you move away from all that is good you will suffer for it! - We reap what we sow. (How can anyone have 'hope' (expectation) of anything 'good' if they do what is not good?)

Try to think of heaven/home not as a place, but as all that matters (each other/family (etc)).  Home/paradise is indeed wherever those treasures are (and not in any 'set' place (as though physical)).   :friendstu:

Amen , we are always , like little lambs  that stray  away  from the fold ,  in the Holy  Spirit is the only way to walk rightly  but the Good shepherd is able to save that which is lost .

I so agree we do get caught up in sin nature and far from the Truth that sets us free , but many , many times its the very thing that must happen in order for us to be humbled , that prideful nature is a beast  . that must be bound  and destroyed in the fire ,

Paul said if he done anything without Love for God and others to be saved  being the motive it was pointless .
His body to be burned as also the same sacrifice a continuance of   troubles Jesus experienced in the world and all those that oppose the TRUTH  to be set free . 1 Corinthians 13:3-7

and so far away from God its a terrible mess made , we reap what we sow
the good seed is the WORD OF GOD planted in our flesh /soil that must be tilled up to take root and we know the being rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ firmly is the only way it works

We become as He is a living sacrifice for others , till the daily sacrifice is taken away , because of God allowing sin to become utterly sinful to the end , because of this very thing GODS WORD will be fulfilled

Jesus is the reward  !!

Yes Rose!
Paradise will be when all are subjected to God.
Everyone doing His good pleasing perfect will!

Glad we aren't just going to be singing for eternity- that would require a lot of songs: plus agreeing which order or part to be.
The Fact that God can do more than we can think or imagine.
The control of a universe requires great power.
So to even be right next to that glorious power thanks to Christ   wow!
The need for attention to detail,  the procedure and the implementation of that, is in motion quite fabulously.
No wonder we are to look forward with great expectancy

Beyond what we can think or imagine...
Things are darkest before the dawn but we have such a great expectation at death.
To most:- death means darkness, but we know that God is everlasting Life and Light, the rough will be made smooth, the lion with the lamb, nothing there to hurt or harm.

Making the road smooth has a lot of potholes to fill.
Watching road works gives a good example of literally stripping the road back to prepare the new seal.
