Asking about hell.

In Luke 16:19-31.It says in the KJV that the rich man went to hell.Also it says in the book of revelation 20:13 that hell gave up it's dead.What do you think of this?

Revelations 20:14
    " and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
       This is the second death. "

IMO this points out how the new heavens and earth are completely free from the control that the fear of death currently has to manipulate our lives.
Plus emphasises the truth about who we are and why we are created for a glorious future with new bodies and power. All being set in place by Christ Jesus.
The concept of government being displayed with cause and effect so as to show how vital the correct principles and values are required so that all people are treated equally.
The mankind attitude and values are currently showing some different ways to handle life: just none of them are 100 % effective.
Greed, coveting,  lust for power,  all blur what looks good on the surface.
Death/hell is for the flesh.  Heaven is spiritual.

I believe hell here is referring to the grave.

True- the initial meaning of hell is interred, literally the burial.
That process will be no longer in action.
