Most humans just can't seem to accept the fact they cannot know everything...People spend their lifetimes searching for meaning.  :Chinscratch:

The ones that can accept they'll never know everything seem to be the most content I've noticed.   :banana:

Some of us enjoy the mystery.  :laugh:

Imagine if you 'knew everything'...Then what? - That would be like only having one room to live in as opposed to an entire infinite universe. - Would you like being stuck in the same room forever?  It would be like only having one book to read forever...

I always say: "We will never have all the answers but we have the best answer...Love".  :HeartThrob:
People think it's 'corny' but at the end of the day...Love/God is the only thing that will save us from doubt and fear.
When all hope is gone we can depend on love.  (God is love).
...When we cannot help ourself we can always help someone else.  (Which helps us (because we are all connected)). Loving our neighbour as ourselves is one of the most important commandments...Love is more important than faith...
...Love mends broken hearts, saves lives, gives sight to the blind (you can read to a blind person), gives hope, gives strength and all 'good things' for Go0d is love...
...Yet people call it 'corny'.

The thing I never understand are 'devout atheists'....

I mean...Whatever way we look at it It's a pretty big universe...(Or is it?)  I mean if it has no beggining or end and is timeless then that means it's all happening at once and everywhere at once... Anyway...My next point is that in reality we are but specks of sperm which came out a penis, then a vagina on a tiny pin-prick rock in infinity. (Rather blunt but trut)...And we think we know something?  :dontknow:

...We can put our hope and faith in many things...But atheists have seemingly sought out the most depressing worldview possible and live their lives DEVOUTLY by it!
Most of them seem as though they are trying as hard as they possibly can to delude themselves to escape 'religion'.  -  Many of them spend day after day mocking religion or trying to make God out to be the 'bad guy', while they boast of their great morals...
"I'd never do that" ("I'm better and know more than God (Love itself)" is what they mean).

They are under some sort of 'plug the ears' delusion...
...Their main problem being that they seem to believe 'Christianity' can only be one way...(Which in their childish minds includes a literal hell and talking snakes and a 'god' with a Santa beard slapping their wrists if they do something wrong... - The really devout atheist cannot see by this nonsense and THEY DON'T WANT TOO.  (The delude themselves and plug their ears)  - You can tell them the bible is symbolic but their carnal mind just cannot grasp it...They just simply don't want to believe it...
...It must be too difficult for their ego that there might be 'somebody bigger than you and I'...
They fail to see that they are part of God ... (All that is!).  :dsunny:

They are so miserable that the thought of another life or (God forbid!) 'living forever' terrifys them!  :Chinscratch:

I once had an atheist (friend) go berserk at me because I don't believe we came from monkeys...
...We had so much in common but because I didn't believe in EXACTLY what he believed he never spoke to me again...and this was a man in his 50's.

I never even used to discuss religion or spirituality or any of that stuff with him.  I don't even talk about in that sense.  I try to show my beliefs through how I interact with people...I try to show love etc but he would always probe me and nit-pick and try to get me to 'convert to atheism' lol!

...It's a lack of Love/God, plain and simple.
Love/God surpasses knowledge.
These people seek knowledge in the 'world' and that's where they go wrong.

An atheist just approached me and tried to "convert me" using evolution. Convert me to what? The belief in nothing? Try to take away the joy I've gained from learning the truth, the faith alone in Jesus Christ saves us.

They started talking about how humans came from monkeys and apes and there's a whole chart and how scientists approved it. Did scientists create monkeys? Did scientists create humans? No. Only God created humans to have dominion over all animals.

Genesis 1:26 ESV Then God said, ?Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.?

The only scientist I completely and fully trust is God. He created the entire biology of humans before biologists discovered our immune systems. He created all chemical compounds, atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons before chemists discovered the periodic table. He created all laws of physics before physicians discovered the laws of motion.

Jeremiah 9:4 ESV Let everyone beware of his neighbor, and put no trust in any brother, for every brother is a deceiver, and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.

Many of my fellow believers in Christ were there to witness this too. One of them made a chart that showed a fox turning into a human as a joke. I also made one of a worm turning into a human for humor. Like what, in a million years, anything can happen? If monkeys turned into humans, what about the foxes or the worms, why aren't they human too? Humans are distinct from animals, God tell us so in scripture.

James 3:7 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind,

Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

It's because God created humans separate from animals. We are not animals. We are made in the image of God.

Of course, science has created modern medicine, life saving surgeries, better health care, accessibility technology, etc. Many great inventions have come from science. But God created science, He uses science to spread His will, to save all people and have them all come to Christ to be saved by faith alone, which they will eventually.

I am against atheists trying to use science and evolution as a weapon against God, that is what I am talking against with this post. We must be grateful and thankful to God that He has allowed humans to discover these wonderful traits of science and use them to heal the sick, feed the hungry and house the homeless.

I am against atheists converting others to atheism. Why do they spread their hopelessness to others? Why bring others to despair? These are not good. God is good and His good news, the Gospel, that Christ will save everyone. That everyone will have faith in Him and the whole world will become believers in Him, this makes people happy, it brings them joy.

Here is the truth. God created everything. God created the Heavens and the Earth. As told in the Book of Genesis this is true.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.



Jesus is God and He died for your sins. Believe in Christ Jesus and be saved. That is the only way to go to Heaven. Thus, to all people who do not believe in God, believe in Him and you will be saved. It?s guaranteed that eventually everyone will become believers in the Lord and go to Heaven.



Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.



Nehemiah 9:6

You alone are the Lord.

You have made the heavens,

The heaven of heavens with all their host,

The earth and all that is on it,

The seas and all that is in them.

You give life to all of them

And the heavenly host bows down before You.



We did not come from nothing. We came from the Lord. The Lord is the sole source of life! Thus trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved from sin, which is death.



2 Kings 19:15 Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, ?O Lord, the God of Israel, who are enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.



The Bible is very clear that God is the creator of everything that is good. The Heavens and the Earth are both His creation.

There are people who try to use science to falsely disprove the existence of God. But God exists whether or not scientists come up with a ?proof? of His existence. God has always existed, whether or not scientists create academic papers, scholarly journals, research publications, university thesis, or not. In the Lord alone is Wisdom and Strength!

Yes its fallacious.  Science has to do with the study of things which come under the purview of science.  God is not one of those things, to say the least.  God as basically defined, is among what are known as, transcendental categories.  Not only that,  God's basic definition on classical theism means that God is that which is metaphysically primary among transcendental categories. So when a skeptic/atheist tries to weaponize science against God existing, they fail badly.  Because transcendental categories(there are many of them) are ALL presupposed NECESSARILY. That means scientific endeavors are indicative of the reality or actuality of those things which are transcendentally necessary  preconditions of science, especially the primary transcendental precondition, which is God on a theistic model of reality.

In the Lord alone is Wisdom and Strength!

    Absolutely!  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge"  .   "All the treasures of wisdom come to us from God by way of Christ" 
   I learned, based on things like that,   that unless a person starts with God in their worldview , there's a sense in which they cannot know anything. They are not going to be able to account for that concepts such as knowledge and wisdom are viable and meaningful on a God free worldview. Because wisdom presupposes that knowledge is a viable concept , and knowledge presupposes truth, and truth presupposes God.  And when a skeptic objects to that,  then they can tell us where they get truth from,  without God.  A skeptic is not going to be able to answer that question.

Excellent points my friend! Science involves the process of experimentation and observing the results. It's like how scientists isolate variables in a controlled laboratory setting. Therefore, in order to use science to analyze God, scientists would need to somehow isolate God into a controlled setting, which would be impossible because God cannot be controlled, He is Almighty. If anything, God would be the controller, and we on Earth are like the variables being isolated with our planet being the controlled laboratory setting. That's the transcendental aspect you mention. That's why science can't be weaponized against God, God created creation, therefore creation would be under God.

Personally, I think Earth is a controlled laboratory setting designed to teach us love. God created a perfect paradise for us in the Garden of Eden, yet humanity disobeyed God, because God is love, we disobeyed love. Thus, we all need to learn love, God. If God wanted to, He could appear before every atheist, perform miracles, and convince them, however even if all people understood all mysteries and all knowledge, without love, it's for nothing. So it's all part of God's plan for atheists to understand each in their own turn.
