greek of “whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life”

In John 3:36, John the baptist says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

(Wrath I think of as more or less consequences.. imperfection being an abyss of potential(a tartarus/murderous spirit?) of potential?) so imperfection results in plenty of consequences.. A judgment upon.. But of course God Most High can send judgment as and whenever He sees fit.)

But this “whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life“ - we know the translators read this as forever (and ever, lol) because they interpreted aionian as meaning forever or everlasting and added forever, everlasting, eternal or forever and ever to some? (at least one I know of) verses that in the original Greek have no time word in them at all! As we know aionian more closely is agelasting or duration.. And forever, etc would be at best the most extreme use.. or is only in the imagination of the translators (and thus Christendom).

But! If we read the interlinear word for word, it sounds like this - “the one not obeying the Son sees/perceives not life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

The Living Bible says it like this - “Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” Partly true! Except for “angry judgment” and iF we add an “until”! Taking into account all the (Christian) universalist verses.

John the baptizer also said, (3:27) "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven.”

and, (35) “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.” Which we know the Lord said also.

And also of course the Lord said He will will draw/drag all - “pas” - “every, all, the whole” - to Himself. Jn.12:32. (Some [few?] He may draw/drag [initially] ‘kicking and screaming’ but draw/drag them He shall! :cloud9: )

Marie..personally, i hate the word 'wrath'...it carries the connotation of 'rage' and heavy harsh anger to me I think because over the years i've heard so many 'eternal torment in hellfire'  preachers use it to describes God's anger which greatly disturbed me .....in reality the Greek word 'orge' means 'settled opposition' (to sin )..i never like to use 'wrath'...i think its a bad translation of 'orge'.
