This article about Firstfruits is very good! Up to a point! But how in the world does he stop so short and not see the full scope.. Universal Reconciliation..

I recently read in study and commentary that the Greek word translated "end" is "tel" root of telescope, and means literally - "end-aim".. Commentary about it said it represents perfectly the nature of prophecy.. Like with prophecy of the Lord's two advents.. a 'smaller' in scope fulfillment, then later a bigger, in this case, full scope fulfillment "until it reaches its end-aim".

But this article stops short as a smaller (very smaller!) scope.. not seeing the actual "end-aim" of Revelation 21:1-5, as we know, when "He makes ALL things new.. a new heavens and a new Earth out of "the elements melting" when "the Son hands all things subdued to the Father" (1Cor.15:28) who is a consuming/purifying fire.. The Lord of course, having completed to the utmost the "drawing of ALL to Himself".. "And behold.. (21:3) the tabernacle of God is now with His people and He will tabernacle (dwell) with them" upon Earth made new..

This year's days between passover and easter are the same as the year Jesus was crucified.. It's like those spring holy days were prophecy.. which suggests the fall ones are prophecy also..?

I like this app's calendar but Firstfruits isn't obvious on it.. but as the article quotes (Lev.23) it's "on the morrow after Sabbath" that week.

It's hard to see in the gospels how perfectly the Spring Holy Days were fulfilled! What with days beginning at sunset instead of midnight.. There's three Sabbaths in holy week, Passover and First Day of Unleavened Bread were both sometimes called Passover.. or Unleavened Bread, and both Hebrew time and Roman time were used.

But 2020 Passover and Easter fall upon the same days as they must have in the year the Lord died and rose..
