For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who has subjected the same in hope.

The creature= ktisis=

The sum/ aggregate of things created.

Was made subject= hypotassō=

Arranged under/ to subordinate.

To put in subjection.

To vanity= mataiotēs=

Devoid of truth/ perverse/ depraved.

Not willingly= ou hekōn=

Involuntary.

Of ones own will/ accord.

By reason of Him= dia hypotassō

The Author & Finisher of all.

Hope= elpis=

Expectation of good.

Joyful and confident expectation of salvation from the Author of hope.
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

I call that good news!

With all wisdom and understanding, he  made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. Eph 1:9
The Logos is complete, but it is not completely understood. http://www.hell-is-a-myth.webs.com/

Dear Eagle: You must expand your word to extraordinary, or outstanding news that reaches beyond anything we can ask or even think. Thank you for your faithfulness to our Lord and to our Tent.

Jesus said, I am the Bread of Life. The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever. I have told you this explicitly because even though you have seen me in action, you don't really believe me. Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don't let go. I came down from heaven not to follow my own whim but to accomplish the will of the One who sent me.

This, in a nutshell, is that will: that everything handed over to me by the Father be completed not a single detail missed and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole. This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time. -MSG

"According to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ."

Some people render this as "for our good pleasure, which he purposed in us". We so often like to think we are the one who is in control of things. I have this peace of mind knowing that God is in control of everything and not me. If only everyone could see that. :sigh:

Dear Charlotte: that rendition is alternate plan b minus. We will stay with the Superior Plan A conceived in our Abba.

It is wonderful seeing you and dear Shana together again on that other board. We shall attempt to sing together of His great love & grace. The Father's tuning fork is sounding, adjust your singing voice. Hmmmmmmmmm
