Mark 16:12 says, “Afterward he appeared in a different form to two of his followers who were walking from Jerusalem into the country.” - https://biblehub.com/interlinear/mark/16-12.htm

The word translated “in another form” is “morphe” - https://biblehub.com/greek/3444.htm - which is described as “form, shape, outward appearance”.

Which has to be true! Doesn’t it? As the fellows walking to Emmaus didn’t recognize the Lord. If it had been because of His radiance, as in Revelation, obviously they would have noticed that, lol.

Other verses about other things mention scales on eyes.. so I’ve always figured that was why they didn’t know it was Him.

Considering other discussions here about “with what sort of body shall they rise?” I found it interesting. Then I realized, iF the risen, born again person had an ability anything like that, well, it points out how very, very necessary it is that every single rational creature (being) be totally ruled by Love. Which IS, as we know, God Himself. It reinforces the truth that He hAs to rule! Each individual, through and through, and also the collective.. He hAs to be “all in all” and as the Contemporary English Version says it “will be everything to everybody”. [The stamp of God is a trinity(?) Everything a trinity.. Father Most High, the Son forever Lord, and the individual (in comparison, a little speck.. :laughing7: “What is man that you are mindful of him!?”
:cloud9: :girlheart: (thanks for putting up with me, this forum, and site of course (!) is inspiring..)
