City Babylon (I call $ity babble on & on) - spiritually it's a through the ages entity. It just uses many faces. Today's city, going global, has, in the Book of Revelation a list of products and luxuries sold which make the merchants wealthy. The list ends with "and the bodies and souls of man". Prophetic scriptures are written in a sort of poetic code - which Jesus, of course has the keys to. Paradoxically, you have to read with a literal understanding. What that line, the buying and selling it presents appears to be quite literal. (We all know that it exists.) ..."And the kings of the Earth are in bed with her". That too is literal.

I'm not saying there's no spiritual inner, to us as individuals message.. It's very true our high towers and castles in the air have to come crashing down to the dusty grave.. (Rev.12:15? / verse 17 w/ Mt.23:39 --> Dn.12:11-12, sorry I love codes and formulas, lol.)

Amen! All die - “the wages/result of sin/“missing the mark”/imperfection..

But ALL rise! “All in the tombs/graves will hear His voice” Jesus said, “..some in the resurrection of/to Life, and some in the resurrection of judgment.” ...”For God knows how to preserve the unjust for correction/kolasis on ‘day’ of judgment.” (Jn.5:28-29; 2 Pet.2:9)

Is there any which God who “is perfect” cannot correct? (Mt.5:48)

What purifies? Totally? Fire! Man’s works at the return of Jesus; and then how does the “new heavens” (kosmos) and New Earth get built? “The elements will melt with a ferocious heat..” (2 Pet.3:10-13)

The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2
