Simplify the gospel?

Two questions:-


A - If you had to teach someone the gospel, simply and effectively NOT using anything from the bible how would you do it?


B - How would you teach the gospel to someone who is (physically) deaf and blind (we could even add mentally handicapped to that)?

A - God is (surely?) life itself.. the spark of, etc. And He is perfect (or He too would fade?) So when God made us so we can think, it changed everything! Because then we can make choices. But to choose anything that is different from what God chooses (in anything) is to become imperfect. Which is the opposite of life! And so death (and suffering) came to be. And now all die! (Opposite of Life).
- But! Since God can only be perfect, the end result of all this can ONLY be the the best one possible!. Perfect, cannot make a mistake. And perfect cannot lose any thing. Certainly not 3/4 of all the people. But not one. Because to lose even one, would not be perfection or perfect.

  I could be an atheist. I mean the whole idea of life is so weird! As a matter of fact, it's very weird that there is anything. It seems like there ought to be nothing. Why should there be anything?

Let alone life, all this life. But then, if there truly was nothing. How did there ever get to be something or anything?

No I'd have to be Hindu I think, seeing the spirit of life in all things.. It's an energy.. Like electricity.. And like the energizer bunny it goes on and on.. It can't simply cease. But what about a cause.. I'd have to become a Brahmin.. But wait, I was one for a little while when I was in the Rocky Mountains..

Then became apparent the imperfection of what is, and of all things. And so there's another why, because it seems as though the spirit of life (flowing through all) should not be liable to imperfection.

Could there be something to a story about a tree of good and evil? Does the existence of individual creatures, with rationality, change the fabric of reality? Able to think and reason, they can make choices. This changes everything!

Taking into account the potential perfection of what is, and the perfection of the spark and force called life.. Am I now to think there is no perfection behind this imperfection? If there must be a great cause (brahma) that so perfectly gives life and design, do I now expect humanity to simply be some sort of utter failure? Or is it still part of some greater perfection and design? Can the ('end') result be anything less than perfect? Is it possible for chaos to win out? To win even a speck? Or is there a faint memory of a promise, "behold I make all things new" and how the newness shall be "all in all" and death and the grave (translated hell) will be no more...

B - :dontknow: I will have to wait until serving the Lord in the next two ages, I think, to find out? Unless it should come up, for me, before then..?

Of course, by loving them...because when we love, we reflect God the best possible way. Be a servant to all. My schools' motto was SERVIUM.
Those who put themselves last, will be first. Be the Light of the World, and the salt of the earth for them.

And, I have taught catechism to severely/profoundly handicapped people, in many circumstances. Love, music, prayer, communal worship, laughter and joy.  I think those are the main ingredients. Afew dunkin doughnuts doesn't hurt, either.  Or, gluten free granola, maybe?

I do not understand  why except , many peoples get offended or become stumbling blocks towards one another  .

Crazy  as it is ,we all struggle not to loose heart sometimes , my prayers are with Marc , may he find his place of rest .

  I just wanted to  say   , I sure do miss Marc and hope he is doing well ..........

  I wanted to  also say I have a 39 year old mentally   and some what physically  handicapped son ,  Nathan  is a 92 lbs , partly deaf    and hobbles around   slowly  , more and more as he gets older  and terribly bent and twisted  in body with kyphosis   and scoliosis   , making it a strain on his heart and been in  diapers his whole life .
I admit I have had many of days it was frustrating trying to get him in   and out of the tub , some times it is hard to deal with his ways of routine  and his noises   and banging on things  and throwing things  and breaking things , he has calmed down so beautifully  in the past several  years .praise GOD

  and I thank JESUS for that  , but the main point   I decided to write this   down was  to let anyone know
  I prayed to God  , mainly asking Jesus and talking to Jesus  and asking for help and asking Him questions for many many years now   , just ask   Him  , Please how can I do  this  without failing the test   Lord because sometimes   I am just so overcome   with   the battles    and wants and needs being met  continually   , servitude is great   ,but it does wear one  down .

   The answer was in a  voice of understanding it  , clear as a bell  , and said , Do  everything as if you are doing it to me ......
   I still cry at that thought     Wow of course   , Why did I never consider that before ????   I am bathing Jesus  broken body,    I knew it and read ,  as  you have done to least of one of these you have done unto me   . not being a respecter of persons  helps when you consider you are doing it to the LORD

But when applied  to   your daily   dealings, it even changes   your whole perspective  in life and what matters to God  most  is loving the  most pitiful  and  yet contrary at times  , because it is hard to  do, some days are harder than others  to keep walking in the Spirit  without growing weary  with well doing .
I must admit  things have gotten  a thousand times better  than years past , with the right Spirit working in both him and I .


Finally realizing his frustration was  just as  notable as mine was , and working together was far more pleasant   than  contrary to one another .  and hope the LORD can be glorified   in even the most basic and simple things of everyday  living ...
