I think of it more as the flip side of the coin. The characteristics of Jesus are both those of the lamb and the lion, depending on what aspect of His life one focuses on. The two can be at peace, when their goal is the same....bringing about God's Kingdom. But, here on earth, as we are now, their goal is opposing.....one is the predator, the other the prey.  Peace will come, when God's Kingdom is all creatures' priority; when God is all in all.

It's bringing the 'old man' into subjection to the 'new man'. - The two become one.  (UNITED/RECONCILLIATION).  The enemy (within) is 'defeated' by Love (God).  :friendstu:
Good/Evil (God/Devil) are parts of ourselves. (Dual nature) and we choose whom to serve...Good or evil.
It was us in the garden seeking to taste of the knowledge of duality to 'become like 'gods" and 'share in God's holiness'.
Hebrews 12:10 - They (human parents) disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.
So 'we did it' AND God did it...
We all have the spirit of God so this is all God's work.  The spirit of God/Love was breathed into Adam (all mankind).  :dsunny:

We can start the process of 'being reconciled to God/Love' here and now (firstfruits).  God/Love is already working at it for us.  Love loves us very much...
God/Love was 'in Christ' reconciling the world to Himself.  :friendstu:

We are enemies of God (Love) 'in our minds'.
Genesis 4:7 - If you do well, will you not have honour? and if you do wrong, sin is waiting at the door, desiring to have you, but do not let it be your master.
Proverbs 16:32 - One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.  :Peace2:

The Lion and Lamb are the same person as all have God's spirit...It's all God.
"The Lion shall lie down with the lamb".  (Because both have learned 'harmony'/'peace')  "Let there be no 'division' among you".
Love is 'one'...  :thumbsup:

When Love becomes all and in all then God (who is Love) is all and in all.  :girlheart:

It's about accepting the 'grace' that takes us out of the law/rules and 'believing in Him who justifies the ungodly' (believing that Love Loves ALL (even it's 'enemies') (which is a faith credited to that person as 'righteousness' because they have believed the 'right thing about Love' (God).  IE - They now know/understand Love/God. - They know God loves all without exception.  "He who does not Love does not know God for God is Love".  God causes the sun to shine on the righteous and the unrighteous. :dsunny:

People who are Loveless/Godless are 'lost'...Enemies of Love IN THEIR OWN MINDS.  They are slaves of sin (things which hurt/destroy them)...  This is what 'saving' someone is...  :sigh: :doh:  ....Bringing someone 'back to their sense' to 'stop sinning as they ought'....Cleaning up their lives for themselves and all they come into contact with.  Helping them realize they are loved...  When we show love to someone we show them God...It is GOD WORKING THROUGH US.

God does not judge us.  Jesus does not judge us.
The saints (us) judge the WORLD (judge ourselves) and not until the 'appointed time when the LORD comes' who will reveal the 'hidden things' so we can all make a CORRECT judgement.
Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.
The 'weeping and gnashing' is but guilt in knowing that we 'missed the mark'. - But God's call (which is irrevocable) will eventually restore all to 'harmony/order'.
We are part of the entity of God.  Nobody is a stranger...We all come together as one (parts which create the whole).
There is absolutely no reason to fear anything whatsoever.  :eek:
We are here to learn lessons which WE WANT TO LEARN! The higher part of us (the spiritual/infinite) UNDERSTANDS this, but down here most of us don't and ask ourselves (what am I doing here?)
The early disciples understood and it is why they were able to endure torture and death whilst still loving their murderers... The carnal nature cannot do such a thing!
Fear comes from 'not being made perfect in Love'.
Doubt and fear is a lack of belief/trust that Love LOVES ALL ALL THE TIME.   :HeartThrob:

We choose what rules us...So what is it?  Love?  And if love...How much love? - A little bit?  A big bit?...Or beyond that into an infinite amount of love which comes out of a magic bucket and never ever runs out?  :Chinscratch:  ...How much love are we prepared to live by?

When people love each other they become 'one' (united in love).
Colossians 2:2 - My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,

Like the flame analogy I used on another thread...
...We learn not to touch a flame as it hurts/burns us (evil), but then we learn to acquire heat from the flame to keep us alive, light to help us see, cooking, purifying, protection etc...In short we use the evil for good after a learning process.
We only need to learn not to touch the flame once (evil) to learn the lesson forever, but we reap the benefits forever.  :HeartThrob:

I believe that there has to be choices. Adam and Eve had to make choices. God's will for us is the good; what is not His will for us, is evil, even if the world thinks it is good. We need to learn how to always choose God's will. One day, when we are 'All in All', we will know.....for when we see Him, we shall be like Him.

1 John 3:

1Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. 2Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed.
