Young's Literal Translation
And to him who is not working, and is believing upon Him who is declaring righteous the impious, his faith is reckoned -- to righteousness:

This is amazing to me.  :dsunny:

It is saying:-
"To the person who doesn't work (do good works) but is (merely) BELIEVING upon God/Jesus to justify ungodly people (and make them righteous).....Then that persons' faith alone is credited as RIGHTEOUSNESS (for him).

Surely only people who understand God/Love (what Love 'really' is) could understand this passage... 
...That the reason such a persons' faith is credited to him as righteousness is because such a person IS ALREADY Godly TO SEE THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE (the bigger picture (how God sees everyone)...Through the eyes of unconditional love)...That God loves all and saves ALL... 
This is the 'work' (to believe)...To just believe that God loves ALL.
In other words we get to a point in our walk where we 'KNOW' that Love Love's even it's 'enemies' and it's all going to turn out just fine...

Am I alone in this thinking?  Can anyone add to this?

The whole verse of course -
"Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has treated us with undeserved grace, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings."

....."the devil that sowed them".. the tares/darnel, which resembles wheat util almost harvest. And darnel is poisonous. I read this in commentary :)

"The field is the world" (many commentaries think the field is the church)..

"While the Farmer slept (rested?) the enemy sowed them..

Death ruled... because Adam sinned" and all are born from Adam (how clever God is! All learning good from evil all together.

This, to me, answers to the question of who does evil... Not that I've ever thought God does evil.. Even tho there's the verse(?) which say "will evil (calamity/ judgment, actually) and I the LORD have not done it? - I still think His 'wrath' in the largest part, is His letting things run their course, i.e. is usually results and consequences). And since He (surely?) is life itself, we can't really separate Him from anything which ever occurs! But allowing evil to exist is different from saying He actually is the author of and does the carrying out of evil..

(The tares having been gathered into bundles and burned at the cosummation / consume-mation of the age. But praise the Lord, they will be resurrected "after the thousand years" of Revelation 20. As Jesus said "all in the tombs will hear His voice, and rise, some to a resurrection of life" (at the Lord's return - "those that are His at His coming" "and some to a resurrection of (the?) judgment..

[the kingdom is like leaven which a woman works into THREE loaves.. mt.13:33.. as death came upon all through Adam - a type of Christ(!) - so shall life come up all through Jesus. But each in their own order, [1] Jesus, the FirstFruit, then [2] those that are His @ His coming. Then [3] will come the 'end' when all has been subdued, put under the feet/rule of Jesus, and He will hand over the kingdom to the Father that the Father may be all in all..   Who has put all things under Jesus.

Rev 20:5-7 - ...these (that are His at His coming) will reign with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead rise not until the thousand years are ended.. Then the Great White Throne (verse 11..)

Rev 21 - And the Father will (now/then) make all ("pas" all, every, the whole) new.. And He will now "Tabernacle" (dwell) with man upon Earth (made new) -- Rev.21:1-5

(In the Fall holy days (Lev.23), before Tabernacles (today Sukkot) comes Day Of Atonement (today Yom Kipper)

OP - day of atonement -- very strict day of "no work" / not of works lest any man boast..

And before (Great) Day of Atonement - THE once a year time the high priest went into the holy of holies and offered a blood sacrifice on behalf of the people.. a day when the people were to "afflect their souls" and anyone who "didn't afflict their soul on that day  was put outside.. of the people/nation". -- The fall holy day before Day of Atonement/DOA (DOA 4 the doa! :dsunny: ) is Trumpets.. today Rosh Hashanah.

The fall holy days, the pattern, shadow, of His long 2nd Advent? Of 3 peaks, the trumpets of Rev (announcement, and His return at the "last"/7th --- 10 days/1000 yrs later --- Day of Atonement/the Judgment begins -- 5 days/500yrs later -- Tabernacles.. all having been made new.. (the all in all event, imo)

Amen! {Revelation 21 and 22! but in Ch. 22 is words spoken, imo, outside of the vision.. because - logic, "ALL things (by then) having been made new!"

Every Heart. A to Z.. alpha and omega.. The beginning and the 'end' / the result / of His work / works..

God made a blood oath concerning it! Maybe it's all a matter of trust.. the whole learning of what's good and evil, just a matter of trusting Him..

I really appreciate your comments.  I do my best to understand them with the little knowledge I have.
Do you think the eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (once again) could be reincarnation???

Yes.  It is a relief to the righteous but it torments the minds of demons (serpents head/mind)...I know... Because I was that demon...I (even until recently) used to rebel at the thought of 'being made righteous'...
But...

...He must increase as I must decrease...

Yes I agree.  If a judge sets a 'rule' or 'law' then what kind of judge would he or she be if they never followed it through with justice...
Judge - Don't kill anyone or I'll kill you.
Bandit - Hey I just killed someone.
Judge - Oh it's ok I'll just let you off cos I'm really nice.

I see in the bible God being faithful to His promises.  Anyone who suffered a penalty KNEW the penalty.
