Notice of Technical Problem: Email from the forum has had to be turned off

Hi,

The forum email that sends notifications of new posts in threads to which you are subscribed, and notice of personal messages, etc. has not been working correctly and has caused thousands of error messages.

I have temporarily turned off the email sending from the forum.

I cannot predict how long it will take to track down the cause of the problem.

I think it's something we can certainly live without, especially considering the current situation.  If we want to contact someone we can either pm or get the email address from the member profile and just use it to email from our own individual email accounts.  Much more important for the other functions of the site and forum to be up and working.  :2c:

Ok, one victory, at least, is that the forum email is working.

The issue of getting looped back to the home page of Tentmaker when clicking a link in the forum, is, hopefully also corrected.
