Paul appointed to know God's will / intent

Hi! Acts 22:14 says about Paul that the God of the ancestors had chosen him "to know His will, to see his righteous Servant, and to hear him speaking with his own voice".

Chosen or appointed to know God's will - the word "will" is translated from the Greek word number 2307, thelema. Included in the description and meaning of thelema, is "what one wishes or has determined shall be done.. objectively, thing willed".

Ananias said this when the Holy Spirit had led him to (blind) Paul in Damascus.

Thelema comes from the root word, number 2309, thelo, to will, wish, desire, intend, design..

Both words include -  “to desire (wish, will), wanting what is best (optimal) because someone is ready and willing to act.... is commonly used of the Lord extending His "best-offer" to the believer – wanting (desiring) to birth His persuasion (faith) in them which also empowers, manifests His presence etc.”
