Hi! I've heard of EE Cummings but I had to look him up on google as I wan't sure who he was. My education from google -

Very interesting! And I liked your poem! To me it seems to speak of how we glimpse(d) the deep darkness which is the other way of life.. which of course is life without Him (which actually, imo, is an impossibility; strict? you betcha but it guarantees paradise perfection for all, not just a few.. And besides it's simply a natural law, that darkness cannot exist in the light.). Life or death.. He is life. What a contrast! One I think all "in heaven and earth" are to understand, this learning of good from evil.

We get to rest (trust) in Him. And I guess that's part of the lesson? How to live and abide in Him? A work which actually He does?

But which there is a formula for? the bread and the wine, His Word and Spirit? "Come and eat" Jesus said. And how often do we need to eat and drink? When I needed healing He told me 3 x's a day all during 4 seasons.. a perfect 7.. With the a.m. bible and prayer time as long as possible.. :cloud9: This maybe as long as twenty years ago.. It really does get better. So much better! Knowing the real Him, sure helps!! The UR, God-aLL powerful who is Love. [And perfect. It helps to know that. That Perfect makes no mistakes. Cannot. Perfect cannot be taken by surprise. And Perfect can lose nothing. Also, the 'end' result of all this - what He is creating - can onLy be (surely?) the utter best one possible.

hi Anti, have you read Nietzsche? Is that why you're anti-Nietzche? I can't say that I blame you! Though I haven't read much :eek: and I don't really remember what I did read. I just had to mention this as I thought his view is becoming man's trending view. but it was of "futility". That he felt life was complete and utter futility.. I was thinking about him because I watched a documentary about Van Gogh and he reminds me of Nietzsche. But I've long felt Mr. Nietzsche's view to be the atheistic view. Which yes, is a cynic.. but! I read not too long ago that a cynic is a frustrated idealist.

Vincent Van Gogh was raised in an Et house, his father was a Protestant minister.. I remember Kirk Douglas played him in a movie.. which I think was based on a book (biography) someone wrote.

Futility is, I believe, the "strong delusion" of latter days that the bible talks about. Futility is not good. And we are teaching the children futility. We all have to submit our heart and mind to Him and let Him do His rewiring.. Hebrews 4:9(?) says there is a full and complete rest of God for those who believe and we are to be diligent to enter that rest "now" (always).. "Beneath us are the Everlasting arms.." I've been reading Hebrews in the Amplified Bible, I love how 4:12 reads, "the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power -- making it active, operative, energizing and effective".. The new testament/contract He has with us..
