Has anyone ever noticed that the same word translated as "I AM" (H1961) in Exodus 3:14 is translated as:

"was" in Genesis 1:2
"Let there be" and "and there was" in Genesis 1:3
"were" in Genesis 1:5
"let there be" and "and let" in Genesis 1:6
"and it was" in Genesis 1:7
"were" in Genesis 1:8
"and it was" in Genesis 1:9
AND MORE

A total of 21 times in just the first chapter of Genesis with a total of 3095 verses in the OT used 3502 times

Amazing.... Seriously! I just noticed this same thing several weeks ago. My girls and I were discussing the Name by which God chose to identify Himself, when questioned by Moses. I like to think our Daddy chose to identify Himself by an Undefinable Name... :laugh:

I have just started to meditate on this relationship between the declaration God made to Moses concerning His Name and His relationship to, with, and thru His creative action... The Garden's soil is so rich and fertile...

I do not see this part as the ending, but only the beginning. What it will be the beginning OF though, I do not know but am really curious what follows.
