The Last Great Day and UR

I was looking at this calendar - http://www.s4ctroops.com/id45.html (weird site tho)

Which is a calendar comparing the Hebrew months with the Gregorian, and I noticed how on it labeled the last day of Tabernacles as the "Last Great Day".

Now I never thought of it that way.. Though I know it is a "high Sabbath"

On the last great day of the feast, he stood in the Temple and cried out: "If anyone thirsts..."

I just read this verse yesterday and a commentary about how "the Rock was struck and waters gushed out" and how that was a prefiguring of Jesus broken on the cross.. And how Jesus had said the Spirit had not yet been given because He had not yet been (broken?) glorified (and ascended to the Father) yet..

I'm all about (well not all :laughing7: ) the ancient, Hebrew, Fall Holy Days, showing the outline and order of our Lord's second advent. [After all His first advent fulfilled the spring ones perfectly.]

And I feel this pattern of the Second Advent, portrayed (imo) in the pattern of the Fall Holy Days proves UR.

Trumpets - the ones of Rev. and the Lord's return(7th) & the resurrection/harpazo/begin millennium
      - 10 days / 1000 years later --> DOA - 'Day' of Atonement/Judgment [doa 4 the doa/rise still in their sin
...5 days / 500? years later --> Tabernacles! ("God will now tabernacle with man upon Earth.")

    So imagine what I thought when I saw the title/label of the last day of Tabernacles, called  "Last Great Day". Day 8.. Also seems to suggest an all new 'week'..

Imagine (oh I do hate to use that word) if those who still refuse to "believe" and have not as yet bent the knee.. But 'Day' of Judgment has ended.. and now Tabernacles, the Presence of God right on the Earth (made new) - perhaps that is when any stubborn hold outs are cast into the LOF.. or namely into God's very Presence who is a consuming fire - being the property of purity to purify and consume impurity..

Then by time the "Last Great Day".. perhaps that is the day of the vivification of all things "that God may be all in all".

:dunno: just thinking out loud.. that was how it struck me anyway..

Hi Marie..I find these interesting,too.O'Immanuel=Godwith us..andIamwith youalways...when man was given the free gift of righteousness through faith inChrist...

we become 'tree's of righteousness'the plantings of the Lord" thus men's spirits dwelling in'booths'trees..or tabernancles.andjust as Hiram hew these trees for assembly

of Solomons temple..so,too...our spirits go up and assembly happens in the heavenly Jerusalem.that's my  understanding of'booths'festival.hewn stones[lively stones]

and felled trees..that Jesus raises up as part of His spiritual body.it also being the last of the three pilgrimage festivals.[go up to the temple of the Lord to present  yourselves.

....I get turned around and can't grasp it otherwise[can'tsee the forest forthe tree's] so this serves me well to how this is fulfilled in Christ and Him raising us UP

is the 'last day' the great judgement ?.....u know where the White Throne is n i guess trillions of people are judged ?.....and trillions go to kolasis ?...or is last day when All are in God ?......mindbending stuff !!!

Definitely mindbending. The last day has already begun (imo). It is blooming like a rose, petal by petal, from the beginning and throughout "all generations of the ages". The Great White Throne (imo) is just one aspect of it and takes place outside of time on a continuing basis as people "in time" die and wake up "outside time".....but thats just a rough drawing of what I believe and not a teaching of any kind because I see through a glass darkly, things I could discuss for hours and write on for days but never b able to claim I clearly understand LOL.

IMO again, the kolasis that remains for those who awaken as enemies of Christ, is being pierced by the light of His love, a fire that consumes all but love, until the mirror reveals the innermost place, and repentance opens the floodgates for His entrance.

The eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles is called "The Last Great Day of the Feast." Jesus Christ Himself came to the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and spoke on the Last Great Day.

John 7:37  (KJV)  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. John 7:38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

These waters (a symbol for God's Spirit) is available to the elect living in this eon and will be available in the future until every soul in heaven and earth is saved:

Rev 21:6  (KJV)  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 22:17  (KJV)  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

According to orthodox Christianity there is no great fall harvest of souls. They do not see the Fall Harvest in God's Kingdom at/before the consummation.

The firstfruits are but the beginning of God's harvest, and there is to follow the full fall harvest of all humanity. God said that this end of the year fall harvest was a time of rejoicing. One could hardly rejoice over throwing the entire fall harvest of humanity into some torturing chamber of eternal fire.

At the end of eonian times all in the universe will be made right and be in harmony with God.  There will be no more death, only life.  All who lived will be immortalized and be in God's family as his children.  God will be all in all.

  God will make everything   perfect /complete in the end    .. as we wait on the Lord ..  feasts of tabernacles [ grape harvests]
 
here is the patience of the saints   Rev 14  two harvest     one   sickle is already made  perfect though suffering  and gathered up  and  completed   that were  found in the true Vine of the earth .

the other   sickle will be made perfect though suffering  washing and made white though the   great winepress  of Gods  tribulation  [one hour of trial ]   crushing the grapes  into new wine   as Babylon   falls   :2c:

1 Corinthians 15:22-28

The leaven of the kingdom of God is spreading throughout all the dough until there is no more unleavened dough.It is the nature of leaven, it leaves no stone unturned. The form of Christ(character and beauty of His nature) is going to spread throughout the whole creation until God is "ALL IN ALL"(that's the leaven ;o) and all will be united in the glorious liberty of the children of God.
