Are There Any Good Lexicons

   For me , any recommendations  would be  compare them all with one another and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you  .

Everything , Sit at Jesus feet and ask Him to show you Himself   .
He will  in due time  , growing in truth and grace is His specialty .
  He loves each one and knows how to make you  understand  His love  and know His love  and  His   Love never fails  you ever
 
I learned  much on the blueletterbible    for many many years, but the heavenly language is always from Above  ,in my humble opinion  and all   checking them out and comparing them have proven to be helpful  also .

New Testament Greek Lexicon
The New Testament Greek lexicon based on Thayer's and Smith's Bible Dictionary plus others; this is keyed to the large Kittel and the "Theological Dictionary of the New Testament." Also included are pronunciations of each word with alternate pronunciations if available.

Old Testament Hebrew Lexicon
The Old Testament Hebrew lexicon is Brown, Driver, Briggs, Gesenius Lexicon; this is keyed to the "Theological Word Book of the Old Testament." Also included are pronunciations of each word with alternate pronunciations if available.

Not really about lexicons but the same method could be applied.

In beginning of my walk I often compared verses in 5-20 translations. That did help some. So my guess if you use lexicons of significantly different denominations that may be helpful. Not very likely because all embrace fire and brimstone.

I think of it as translators (even in the lexicons) running meanings.. Kind of like how some scripture verses have no time word in them, yet in the translation, what do we often see? The word 'forever'. Oy.

Like others have said, it takes God's (quiet) guiding Spirit of Truth.. A number of versions including interlinear with the lexicon links, cross references, and sometimes reading a number of commentaries something will help or come to light-but first being grounded in the Word itself and well acquainted with it so as to not heed false doctrine.. So I guess that's a bit circular..

I usually use biblehub dot com and have the biblehub app on my phone..

Baur, Danker, Arndt and Gingrich lexicon is very good imo and is available at

the Lexicon itself is very expensive(around 100.00-175.00) my hardback edition is 40 years old and was indispensable to me for 25 years and I still drag it out occasionally.
